The bag had a very strong, bad odour!!! I had to hold my breath while trying to open it. The smell is liken to hot water with a dirty mop in it! OMG. I won't be ordering this again just because of this. I haven't even used it yet!

In terms of how well they clean, these are probably the best dishwasher pods I’ve tried. I switched to them after the brand I’d been using for years changed their formula and started leaving residue on my dishes. After trying one other brand that didn’t help at all, I decided to give this a shot, and it made an I credible difference. The dishes come out as clean as ever, and now without any hard water or detergent residue on them, and as an added bonus, the inside of my dishwasher stays noticeably cleaner now.My one complaint, and the reason this isn’t a 5-star review, is that the pods themselves aren’t very sturdy. I haven’t had the liquid side of them pop before, but probably one in four of them was already leaking from the powder side when I got them. I’ve had multiple bags now, and this was an issue on all of them. It’s not too problematic though, you basically just have to pour some of the loose powder from the bag to supplement any time you pull out a leaky pod.

I have been using this product for 2 years, and like the idea of non-toxic cleaning. I didn't open up this package for a while as I had a big package that I wanted to use up first. However, when I did open it to use it, the package I purchased has caused me to want to switch. The package had MANY (I’d say at least 75%) of the pods broken! A whole package of loose powder, so therefore a huge waste, given the cost of these. And, of course, it was past the refund time. The formula must have changed also because there used to be a nice lemon scent and now there is a strong fake lemon smell (maybe due to the packages broken). The dishes also have had a grainy residue, like the powder is not dissolving with grainy particles dried on the dishwasher after drying. I didn’t have this when I used it previously, but I am going to try another product now because of it! i hope the company fixes this, because it could be a good product.

I live in a town with very hard water and Lemi Shine is the only one I can use in the dishwasher. All the major brands leave dishes stained and dirty
