Review: I've been on several multi-day camping trips with this little igniter and have no complaints; it sparks every time and is just long enough to prevent scorched fingers. It's small enough to store with your canister stove too. I didn't think much of the landyard at first but it has a use: loop around your hand so you can "drop" the igniter once the stove is lit without letting Sparky fall into dirt or snow, leaving your hand free to put your cookwear on the now-lit stove. I will edit my review once I have more long term reliability data but because of Optimus' warranty, you should always be able to get a replacement if the igniter fails.

I've been on several multi-day camping trips with this little igniter and have no complaints; it sparks every time and is just long enough to prevent scorched fingers. It's small enough to store with your canister stove too. I didn't think much of the landyard at first but it has a use: loop around your hand so you can "drop" the igniter once the stove is lit without letting Sparky fall into dirt or snow, leaving your hand free to put your cookwear on the now-lit stove.
