## Description

Chipstick D4 PU Foaming Chipboard Adhesive is an all-in-one product that bonds to a variety of materials; making it perfect for the installation of chipboard flooring, stairs, bonding window and door frames and much more.
PU stands for polyurethane, which is a type of adhesive that provides a permanent, long term, high performance rigid bond. It consists of a high-quality formula that produces a foaming action to expand into gaps. This is especially good for the application of floorboards as the excess adhesive foams out of the joints to create a ridge that enhances the weatherproofing of the joint. Our foaming glue can also be used to fix and prevent any squeaks in floorboards/stairs.
Moreover, Chipstick Glue has a D4 rating, which means it has been ranked the highest water resistant adhesive on the market; making it a highly effective solution for both indoor and outdoor use.

## Features

- VERSATILE AND RELIABLE Our foaming chipboard flooring glue is a one-component water-resistant urethane adhesive that forms a strong and durable bond with various building substrates, including wood materials, metals, plasterboard, and plastics.
- SUPERIOR GAP FILLING With its unique foaming technology, this adhesive provides excellent gap filling properties, ensuring a secure and reliable bond in a variety of applications. This works especially well as a strong wood glue when you’re wanting to mend squeaky floorboards or even lay new floorboards and stairs.
- WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS Whether you need to bond chipboard and wood-based panels or even construct wooden and aluminum window and door frames, this is a foaming adhesive you can rely on. Its flexibility makes it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
- WITHSTANDS EXTREME TEMPERATURES This foaming chipboard glue demonstrates excellent resistance to hot and cold temperatures, ensuring that your bonded materials stay securely in place regardless of environmental conditions.
- SOLVENT RESISTANT This D4 adhesive boasts exceptional resistance to solvents, providing long-lasting durability and reliability in demanding applications. You can trust our foaming chipboard glue to maintain its bond even in challenging environments.

## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent stuff.
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 18 February 2026*

This glue is excellent for securing squeaky flooring boards. Lift and clean the board and rafters, spread the glue liberally, and then secure down with appropriate screws (threaded all the way to the top. The glue expands like foam and grabs everything in its path. Yet, it is easy to clean off any excess that rises above the boards. Highly recommended.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use expanding glue.
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 November 2025*

A easy to use glue that really helps quite a chipboard panel floor. I used it when overlaying a poor quality chipboard floor with 18mm large chipboard floor panels and have been rewarded with a really firm quite flooring. The glue flows from the container easily and then expands and dries in about 1 hour and any excess can be removed with a good scrapper to leave a good job.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Noisy staircase done!
*by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 June 2026*

First time using this after reading recommendations. Had a number of squeaking floorboards and stairs (some really noisy) this worked brilliantly curing about 90% of the movement. Used some screws on the stair treads and now it's so quiet. Very pleased with the result.
