Crutchfield told people that you couldn't have a 40A amplifier as that was too much draw on the battery. Their limit was 30A, but others who install radios say this is fine... just don't go over 100A... that's too much draw. So I haven't experienced any issues with the car since installing it but I have this turned up now to 18 out of 40 and it sounds amazing in the car and loud enough to pack a punch. Size is nice and compact and it was easy for me to install with secure connections using a hex wrench. So I'm very happy with this and will finish the mount this week. This one replaced a Sony 15A amplifier which worked fine, but this one is clearly just night and day between the two. You could also run both pairs on 2 channels and bridge the other 2 to run a sub. **Q: Will this run my r series r-s65.2 and r-s69c.2 speakers or should i have bought the r-series amp (r-a60f)?** A: I don't know the specs of your speakers, but this amp puts out 55watts @ 4ohms and 80watts @ 2ohms. BTW, that's per channel. I have the S-Series speakers which match this amp. They sound great paired together. But, I know the R-Series can handle more wattage. **Q: Will this amp push 4 pioneer 6x9’s** A: 4 Pioneer 6x9s is very vague. You need to, at minimum, know the specs of your speakers.
