So Sorry this is No Longer Available--Great Crossbow Sight
As of this date, it appears that I got the last one. I have slowly changed over my Binos (3 pairs), Riflescopes (2), and finally my Crossbow scope over to Vortex. Only my Bushnell rangefinder is a non-Vortex optic. OVERALL, this is worth the $200 IMO. As we all know you (mostly) get what you pay for. I paid $800 for my TenPoint Crossbow. So I had to wait a season to upgrade the optics. . This scope, like all of my other Vortex optics, reeks of quality. These optics are consistently clear and sharp from dawn to duskโwhile hunting, or at the beach. On this scope, the dials move easily--but keep enough friction to keep them in place. Even with these old eyes and glasses, I was able to adjust the diopter ring to get a crisp/sharp Green and Red reticle. The included rings / base worked flawlessly. (BTW Torque is 30 in/lbs and the rings require 18 in/lbs of torque. I have crushed a scope tube in my younger days--get a Wheeler torque wrench for your scope mounting.!) . ISSUES. 1) The instructions for sighting in specify for sighting in at any distance OTHER THAN 40 yards are minimalโfor adjusting the Magnification/Speed ring (a single ring which shows both magnification and the corresponding speed). After a simple statement, there is NO Dialogue explaining if you can then use the magnification ring and/or if the Reticle Subtensions remain accurate for future usese--since it wasn't ranged at 40 yards!? I have access to only a 30 yard range for practice. . 2) The SPEEDs indicated on the dial are widely spaced and NOT COMMON crossbow speeds. SO, an attempt to guess where to place the dial for 350fps arrows is a wild guess. NOW, to be honest, the change is probably not too significant in the scheme of arrow grouping, but for $200 I expect crystal clear instructions and the ability to directly dial in my arrow speed without any guesswork. . The scope sits exactly 2 3/4 inches above the bore (arrow center) so the Arrow Flight Calculation for my Bow/Arrow weight is excellent (350 fps). Since I have so little rise/fall out to 40 yards, I decided to simply sight it in for Crosshairs โON CENTERโ at 40 Yards, and the flight is under 5" all the way to 40 yards. (IN MY CASE, the arrow needs to hit exactly 4.0โ high at 30 yards and Iโm set. This leaves me Easy calculations--on the fly--for hunting big game. I don't shoot beyond 40 yards. . I painted CAMO on the scope and it looks good too. NOTE: I had to add a strip of Double-Sided tape to both the front and rear of the scope to Keep the Covers on tightly. They are spring loaded, and work great. HOWEVER, the will slide around and I don't want to lose one. . You can see the SPEED dial in the Photo. On the BACK of the Speed dial is the CORRESPONDING Magnification. For example, my arrows with tip (425g) shoot right at 350 fps. So, when "350" is (estimated) used, the Magnification is at 3.4. What an ODD combo! But, it works great. . .

Love, love, love this scope!
The fact that the yardage markers are illuminated on the scope is such a game changer for me. I hated trying to count how many lines down because I can never see the numbers. This fixed that. Very clear optics, very good light gathering, easy instructions to get it cited in and speed ring set

Reticle is Absolute Genius!!!
Build quality and glass are similar to all of the other Crossfire line scopes, however, where this scope shines is its reticle. If you don't understand how crossbow and SFP scopes work, this review may be hard to understand. The reticle is great because it is centered at 40 yards, then above the center of the reticle are 2 more hash marks at 20 and 30 yards. Below the center of the reticle 50, 60, etc. If you think about it, a modern crossbow at 400 fps zeroed at 40 yards should hit 3 or so in high at 20 yards and maybe a little lower than that at 50 like 4 in. So basically if the deer or whatever is 20 yards away you would use the very top hash mark, and the center of the reticle would be about 3 in lower than POI. Basically the bolt will never go higher than the top hash mark. Then after 40 yards the bolt drops below the center of the reticle. This makes the scope very intuitive to use. You can very common sense visualize the arch of the bolt in relation to the reticle of the scope and hunting distances. Included scope caps and rings were a plus but the scope cover is way too small and worthless. I happened to luck out on the adjustments and eyeballed the magnification at 400 fps- note there are just a few general marking for the fps, they could mark then at 50 fps increments for a little easier common sense adjustments but it does not really matter. Also my bow is rated for 400 fps and the magnification worked out to be almost exactly 4.5x. Illumination is variable which is great not just several click settings. It's not really "daylight bright" so really a dusk to dawn helper or on darker colored background targets. Love this thing highly recommend.
