Lightweight, the right size
Update after 2 months: this chair continues to impress me! It's a very well thought out, good designed chair. Even opening the chair is easy and kind of satisfying. Also, the fabric strips are more like steat-belt material, very strong. Not sure how it's attached to the frame, it slips into a slot on the frame, being anchored within the frame.I've gotten several compliments. Definitely worth the purchase.OG review:I bought the XXL size chair with blue back.My purpose for the purchase was not for camping or hunting, but to bring to work. I needed a lightweight chair with a backrest that I could carry in one hand and not have to switch hands because it's too heavy and it makes me tired. This chair is ideal for my use case. I'm 200lbs, 5'10". Not sure if it is suitable for someone who's 600lbs. But for a guy line me, it's not small at all. Really a good size. I don't feel like I'm sitting too close to the ground. My knees, when seated, are bent almost at 90°. People with longer legs would certainly have their knees higher than the seat.Sturdiness: hard to say since I've had it for less than a month. I sit in it when I have a break or there's a slow down and I'm not doing anything. So I sit in it for around an hour a day. The seat is built lime those old fashioned foldable chairs with the nylon or vinyl strips. Those chairs dually have them cross hatched or weaved. This chair just has the 6 vertical fabric strips. However, when set up and unfolded, the strips are very taught, with no droopiness or anything like that. I'm not entirely sure how they are fastened to the frame, they are inserted in slots on the frame. The back could be a problem later on. The back when opened and unfolded, rests on the back of the seat frame, kind of like a cantilevered design. I feel like given enough weight, the top of the back rest or where it contacts the frame could bend. But if that happens, it turns into a stool haha. For camping purposes, one benefit is the seat legs have horizontal bars that lay flat on the ground, mitigating any kind of sinking into a soft ground. They also have rubber feet to resist sliding. It would have been nice to have some kind of catch hook for keeping the legs and frame together when folded up. But a small bungee cord will do the trick.I haven't tested it over a long period of siting, but for short rest periods, it's pretty comfortable.Although it's a bit steep in price, I think it'll be worth it, especially if it's durable and holds up. It's really great for my use case because I needed a lightweight, one- handed chair that has a backrest.

Good little portable chair
I was looking for a small chair to use inside my tent. Previously I had one of those round collapsible ones that collapsed (with me on it). This chair was perfect for my needs. Didn’t take up much room, easy to set up, was plenty sturdy for putting on shoes, socks or just to sit on. I wouldn’t recommend it if you plan on sitting a long time, like in front of a fire, but for sturdiness and portability it’s perfect. I personally would have liked it better if the seat was also steel instead of nylon straps as that would have made standing up easier since it sits low. But that’s not a knock against the chair, just preference.

Easy to use and very sturdy
Folding is easy and support is good but seat digs into leg with metal corners on front if it didn't do that I would have gave it a 5 instead of a 4.

Everyone should have at least one Portable Folding Camping Chair
Don't let the XL size fool ya! This is a well made folding camp chair. I've used this chair to sit and clean the fridge, outside sitting back enjoying the weather, and as a foot stool without using the back. It's small in size, but the seat is taller than most. Lightweight, so it's easy to grab and go anywhere at a moments notice. Tough, stable, and rugged enough to handle my 280 pounds. This is a must have for outside activities and around the house.

Very sturdy
This camp chair is light yet supports my weight easily (250+). Only issue at all is that it is somewhat short for my height (5'11"). Overall I am very happy with this chair.

Metal bar hurts back of my thighs
I was in the chair for less than a minute- over 5 minutes later the back of my thighs still hurt. I’m going try to find a chair cushion for this thing. It is sturdy, but the seat is a bit small and not comfortable. Feeling quite disappointed. Btw, I bought the xxl. What good is a chair that is too uncomfortable to sit on?

Love these lightweight and very sturdy chairs!
When you're heavyset, finding a portable, lightweight chair that you don't need to fear will have you sitting on the ground, embarrassed, is no easy feat! That's why my husband and I LOVE these chairs!! We take them everywhere!! There is no creaking, cracking or fear of breakage when sitting in these chairs. Definitely worth the money paid!

Much smaller than the pics
These are well built and sturdy, but they are much smaller than they appear in the pictures. Had to return them since I bought them for an 80 year old and she couldn't get out of them.
