This is my son's first year of band, he's a 6th grader and he wanted to play the clarinet. I did know know how expensive instruments were and I knew I did not want to rent a clarinet for long. I don't know much about instruments and to be totally honest, the picture of this clarinet did not give me much comfort. But the price was right and the band teacher recommended this brand so I crossed my fingers and took a chance. I must say that the picture did not give the instrument justice. The clarinet was in GREAT condition, it looked almost new. The case was very nice and it plays so well. My son's band teacher is very pleased and so I am! Good quality instrument for beginners.

It was delivered very fast so that was nice but it doesn't look nothing like the picture. What I received was not the same clarinet that was being advertised. It was suppose to come with accessories but nothing came with it. I don't know yet what kind of shape its in yet. It's for my daughter who just started band so it will take a little while to determine if it's in good working order.

Thought it was a reasonable price when purchasing it. However, when brought to the specialist for check up, very disappointed cause it was missing finger pad, one of key was not working at all. One of cork also had to replaced it. Also other misc. needs to be retouched prior to bringing to school band. And it cost almost additional $75 out of my pocket.Wish the seller should mention all the details more honestly so buyers would make better judgment before purchasing.

This clarinet was an excellent buy. It was not “perfect” however considering it was used it was in good shape. Any Yamaha Clarinet is better than the new cheap off brands. I have not played in 50 years so I am excited to play again. Having prior experience and being a perfectionist, I had the corks and pads replaced but it could have been used with the original pads and corks. And.....I remembered how to play notes as soon as it was assembled. 😊

For a used instrument, I couldn't be happier. It arrived in very good shape. My daughter was thrilled and her band teacher (who had warned parents of the possibility of getting "a lemon" when buying used instruments on the Internet) told her that she had gotten a good clarinet. The best part was the shipping. The seller shipped the clarinet less than 24 hours after I ordered it, and it arrived within a few days.

I was a bit hesitant about getting a used instrument but it was truly as described “like new” .It’s in beautiful condition and it sounds great. It was delivered quickly and was well worth the money.
