Solid quality
The quality was great. Very sturdy. Even the d-ring was well made and high quality. My only complaint or dislike was the width of the holster/scabbard. It seems more built for a 7/8 bar out of the box than a 3/4 bar( I know I’m nitpicking). In its current fresh/ stiff leather state, I cannot draw the scabbard tight enough to hold a 3/4 without slipping out, even with a collar. Leaning off a carrier to fasten a lower point raises concerns of it slipping out and headed to the ground so I’ve reverted back to a 7/8 bar in till I can work it in. Hopefully with some wear I can flex the leather flap enough to let it curl in more and cinch better. Normally I carry a 2 foot long 3/4 jimmy/sleever bar and a set of cheater nuts when Im on the iron. It’s all I’ve ever really needed in any scenario. It is what it is and it does what it’s supposed to with a 7/8 bar amazingly well. Climbing and laying isn’t bad. Kneeling with a sleever is annoying no matter what. I would buy this again but the leather makes me think it’ll be good till I retire. Picture shown is the leather flap.

The minute you see and feel this piece you'll know it is worth every penny!!! I have 15 years left to retire and have no doubt it'll last way past that. The minute I realize what great craftsmanship I came back and ordered the #2 combo sleeved bar/2spud holder. Little note on a card said "Stay safe, Carlos". Any good wishes are welcomed so I thought was awesome and McClure clan leather now has a loyal Customer. . Also came with a cool sticker 😁 Happy customer!!
