I am somewhat of a soap snob and don't buy soaps from large corporations. Typically I go to specialty shops for soaps but I saw this on Amazon and decided to give it a try. Alls I have to say is wow! This soap is great! It is scented just right and it lathers up really nicely! It is also a great value for your money! At only about $4 a bar, I was expecting the soap bars to be small but they are large. Its great for skin cleanliness and the texture is great. I think I will be buying this soap going forward. I should be surprised though because when the Amish do something, they do it right! I rarely leave reviews on Amazon but had to for this product. I would highly recommend it to family and friends.

For now it gets 5 stars. Every bar was a different color some people say they get all white or grey. All the bars smell the same as well where I’ve seen reviews where different colors are different scents. It has a hint of clay with a light soap smell. Not strong at all I barely smell it on my skin but feels clean. I tried the soap on my entire body, skin, Head hair and Beard. Left my skin feeling soft and refreshed. I typically have 5-8 different kinds of bar soap in my shower at any given time. From $20 a bar to $1 a bar. I’m pleasantly surprised and if it stays like today I may just only buy it.

So i am on my second bar now and i had to write a review to show some appreciation for this soap. Things i love about this soap: Moisturizing: My skin feels the healthiest its ever been. It lightly moisturizes without being tacky. My skin feels incredible baby soft and smooth. Lather: this lather is one ive only found in fine milled soaps. It is a thick creamy lather. If you hold it in both hands and spin in circles you can work up a wonderful lather. Multi purpose: the lather is thick enough to use for shaving. I like it because i can now shave in the bath without getting shaving foam in the tub. I have used it for washing hair. My hair is incredibly thick and i find it still works well to wash it. The lather penetrates my thick hair. It feels pretty clean better than any other shampoo bars ive used. But with how thick my hair is i dont use it everyday. It does take a bit of work to get enough lather to shampoo my thick long hair. Scent: If i would describe the scent i would say it is a lighter scent but very similiar to a dove bar but it has a more natural tallow smell to it. Its not a bad smell. I like it but its not my favorite. I appreciate greatly that its not a strong scent. My skin is allergic to fragrances so sometimes i use it to wash my face in the shower. Size and longetivity: the size is a bit large for my small hands so harder at first to spin in my hands but ive gotten used to it. I find even using this soap everyday and for shaving and sometimes shampoos it lasts at least 1-2 months which impresses me over my normal store bought soaps that i only used to wash with. Price: 10 dollars for 5 long lasting soaps like this is a steal. Question: did i find anything dangerous in the soap? No, but i found one anomaly. I found a tiny i would say it was something brown probably cardboard or wood and easily spotted early before i could feel it. It was very small and did not feel uncomfortable or sharp i never took it out and it never bothered me. It just felt a bit harder than the soap but it was not sharp or scratching in any way. I would highly recommend this soap and it is my go to. Please dont stop making it! Update: I now find this simple soap one of the little pleasures of my day. The smell is now much more pleasant to me and it doesn't smell like Dove anymore its more natural. I got a few square bars and they are so cute and rustic. I have been using this since Sept and its march I still have a few bars left still its just myself using it but I still use it to shave as well as wash my face and body but I will be ordering more since its on sale and i dont need any other soaps. This is great for a minimalist person who just wants simple wonderful soap. I know its stupid ..its such a simple thing but coming from someone who's spent so much money trying to find the right products its so satisfying to finally find one.

This is the best bar soap I have come across in a long time. It makes a lot of soapsuds, does not dry out your skin and the scent is so pleasant. Very good quality.

I gave it some time before I wrote my review because I wanted to make sure the soap didn't dry out my skin (it did NOT). The smell is fresh and wonderful. The bars are big and produce lots of easy lather. You feel clean and fresh after using it. The fact you get 5 huge bars for 15 dollars is pretty amazing. It has good ingredients too, not lots of weird fillers. Love it!

I do really like the soap and have used it on my body and my hair. I have found that my hair is a smidge drier using this soap and my normal conditioner as compared to using my normal shampoo with my normal conditioner. But, I found a hidden gem in using this soap one day! I was getting an itchy rash reaction to a medicated patch I am currently using and one day in the shower, I rubbed soap on a very itchy spot and left it there while shaving my legs. Completely made the itching go away! Wow! A friend of mine that turned me on to this soap said her husband had gotten a rash on his stomach and this soap was helping to clear it up. Nice! One reason I am giving this a 4 star review is because of the size of the bars of soap. They are much larger than a normal bar of soap, so they don't fit along side my bathroom sink and in some soap holders. Also noticed that handling the bar of soap (especially when it is new) at that size is a bit awkward. I'd love if they made the bars of soap to be much closer in size to regular bars of soap. Only other downfall is the price, given I'm not finding this soap to be a game changer for me in comparison to store bought soap.

I'm a guy. Amish Farms Soap Bars are my new favorite soap! I was first introduced to clay-based soap by a friend who made it from scratch, but then they quit. What I like most about soap containing clay is that clay is a very mild abrasive but doesn't leave you with dry skin. I went on Amazon looking to find an affordable source and decided on Amish Farms brand. I really like the assortment of colors and scents available, as well as the low price for five big bars! The uniformity of the individual bars tells me that they have a good quality-control process. They're considered moisturizing bars, and I found that to be true, in spite of clay being slightly abrasive. The bars are larger than most of the popular soaps on the market, so I think the bag of five bars will last a long time. I will definitely be reordering them when the time comes. This is one product I like enough to be willing to pay a premium over ordinary big-name brands.

Lovely soaps fresh smell but not overpowering,creamy and kind to skin would recommend

My whole family loves this soap. It's very moisturizing and gentle on sensitive eczema-prone skin but also really nice on oily skin. It's goatsmilk with a light scent that is strong out of the bag and fades once you begin using the bar so if your entire house smells like wildflowers and soap for 1/2 a day don't be alarmed. The bars are big and last a long time in a soap dish rack-allow the bar to dry and extend it's life. The bag is a great value and the soap is very high quality.

As a self confessed soap connoisseur, I try a lot of soap. This is my new favorite. It lathers well, its creamy but rinses clean, it has a light fragrance that smells great and it has a good and simple ingredient profile. It also has staying power, and doesn't just melt away after a few uses. The only thing that could make it better would be if the manufacturer would also offer their traditional tallow based recipe. Either way, I will be buying this again.
