Industrial Air IV5076055 60 gallon 5 hp Two Stage Air Compressor

This compressor is definitely a must have item if you run multiple air tools. It is very quiet compared to my old air compressor. This is a VERY HEAVY unit and you will need several strong backs to move it around or off the shipping pallet. The truck delivery was a bit of a pain to schedule but well worth the extra effort. The delivery company used a pallet jack and lift gate to unload into the doorway of my shop. I have used this compressor quite a bit lately and I can assure you this is the best air compressor for the money in my opinion.

This unit is much quieter than I expected, but I attribute that mostly to the slow pump r/m (720 r/m). It arrived unscathed via UPS, and the installation was easy. The documentation is good, and I didn't see the word "China" anywhere, if you're concerned about that. It is temporarily mounted to the shipping pallet. The receiver fills in about 90 seconds from empty.

Seems to be very well constructed. Delivery left a lot to be desired- whoever they used to deliver did bring it up the driveway but I was not home and this item was left unattended, and bad weather was looming. I realize the chances of someone stealing this from my driveway is pretty slim but I would have kindly asked the driver to bring it into the garage. This happened after calling the shipping company days before the delivery date and being assured I was going to be notified on the delivery day prior to the delivery. So far, that's my only hangup. Compressor is installed and seems to be doing what it's designed to do. I may change the drain valve. I opted to purchase their maintenance kit which extends the warranty of the compressor (save the receipts!!). You can just about carry on a conversation with someone while standing in the vicinity of it running. I wired it via a control circuit so instead of the cycling switch carrying the full load of the motor, it is only handling the motor starter coil. I don't trust any cycling switch to handle motor amperage and I have low voltage switches everywhere to be able to turn this on and off at various work stations.

Came all broken and leaking oil I’m so disappointed

This is a well built compressor the only modification I installed a 90 degree ball vlv and extension for the bottom drain.

I love the compressor but have had no luck with getting any response from their website. I built a little house for the unit but forgot to install a aftermarket auto drain. Lifted it back up and proceeded to install. Well... Let's just say that you shouldn't use a brass 1/4" nipple in your design of you can cause my OCD kicked in when I had the drain installed and with no leaks. The drain was not perfectly 90* so I tightened it another 1/4 turn. I think we can all see where this is going... Yup, I broke that stupid nipple of inside the lower cap. Here's is where the lack of support comes until play. I have emailed industrial air twice now with no response. I was requesting to purchase another drain cap. Nothing, not even a go F yourself kid. You would think with spending $2,000 on a compressor that the company would appreciate their customers that are putting their kids through college but not this company. So basically, nice unit just don't expect any kinda support from them.

Very high quality. Super quiet can still hold a conversation while running. Extremely heavy but the material and components used are of great quality. Would recommend. Use it for sand blasting and never has a problem keeping up.

Great air compressor! Works great doing auto body work, keeps up with air tool continuous usage. I did add a cooling fan for the motor, as a precaution (it's located in a non-air-conditioned area, I live in the deep South).
