Like most people who review this product
Like most people who review this product, when you first get it , it feels a little flimsy, but it is far from the case.Once up on the wall, it is very solid and well made. It is perfectly made for a 24x36 poster. The Mylar protection is thick enough, but it does not beat a piece of glass. (considering this was shipped, I am not complaining though). The frame does not give a high end look to it as I had hoped, but it still looks very nice. All in all, very happy with the product.P.S. I had questions about the mylar finish and they responded within 24 hours. Quick and good feedback.

There might be defects in this size
I ordered a 24 x 36 frame and although it seems okay, it lacks the center holes on the sides of the frame that is needed to hang it with a wire. You can see these holes in the wire hanging video on the SnapeZo Youtube channel. My first frame didn't come with these holes so I contacted SnapeZo and requested an exchange through Amazon. SnapeZo told me to send pictures of the frame, but I told them it was packed up and a new replacement frame was already being sent by Amazon. I got the new frame from Amazon and again there were no holes drilled on the sides for a wire. I contacted SnapeZo and this time sent them pictures and all info needed. The SnapeZo customer service rep said there should be holes on the side and that they would forward my e-mail and picture to a corporate sales manager. Later that same day (the same as me writing this review) I was sent an e-mail telling me this current batch of 24 x 36 frames have the incorrect hole location and all of the other frames of the same size in their warehouse are the same. Future frames in this size should be okay and I'm not sure if any of the other sizes come like this, but be aware that the 24 x 36 will not have the center holes on the side until they sell out of their current stock.

Best for cheap frame option for movie-sized posters
I originally bought one for a reproduction Star Wars poster and this was one of the few pre-made frames in that size. I ended up loving the relative quality of the frame enough to purchase two more for some mondo prints. Some things you should know before buying a frame though.1) they are a metal aluminum front-loaded snap frame.2) they expect you to screw these into the wall prior to placing your poster into the frame, however, I was able to use a heavy-gauge plastic coated wire generously knotted into the screw holes to create a traditional wire hanging system. I have hung my posters using this system for over five years now with no falling down.3) the back is an opaque white plastic film, so if you wanted to shine a light box underneath, you can get a cool light effect.4) it comes with two front plastic sheets, one that’s completely crystal clear, one that’s gently frosted to remove glare from lighting. Each sheet is protected by a plastic film you remove just prior to installation. If you follow their instructional video, you won’t get static fluff attracted to the film.5) if you were to pay for a custom frame at a framing shop you can expect to pay 10x the price of these frames. I had a quote for $900 for a custom frame with museum-quality plexiglass for my Star Wars poster. I’m so so so glad I decided to try snapezo first! If you go in with these expectations, you shouldn’t have too many issues with this frame. Certainly it’s a cheap alternative to custom framing.

Great for Lightbox Fans
I have several sizes/colors of the SnapeZo frames and found them to be perfect for making light boxes.Made a wooden frame to mount the Snapezo onto. Installed an LED light kit into the wood frame. Added a cardboard backing, which I covered with aluminum foil to get the light reflection. Fun project!Unless you have an extra pair of hands, changing out posters is easier on the smaller frames. On my 36x40, I take it down and lay it flat to get the poster and lens aligned perfectly, before snapping the sides back on.I also one one frame that I did not build a box for. It is hung with the two hanging clips they include, which you slide/hook into the back of the frame. Works perfectly, no drilling required.I wish I had more wall space - love these frames! :)Only improvement I can think of is packaging. Had to return one or two because of damage to the lenses due to insufficient packaging.

Sturdy well designed frame with cheap packaging
Nice design and quality frame. Too bad the packaging is a thin single layer of cardboard whose rigidity is provided by the frame itself. So mine came bent but not so much that I could not bend it back. But it left a dent on one side of the frame. And the non-reflective cover, which was inside the frame, was also damaged on one side because it was just floating around but not to the point of creasing. So I decided to use it after unbending the frame instead of sending it back. The other cover, the reflective one, was taped to the back of the frame and was perfect. Go figure. The one I wasn't going to use is perfect. For the price, it is a sturdy quality poster frame. And for the price, the packaging should have been more sturdy. My other three framed posters were packed with thick double walled cardboard with layers of stiffeners so it was much thicker than the poster and frame itself. This frame's packaging is not much thicker than the frame itself. The ease of putting the poster in the frame along with the protective cover was really just a few snaps. Nice design. Good thing too since I absent mindedly peeled the protective film off of the non-glare cover and faced the shiny side out. So I had to flip it after noticing my mistake. The poster on the right is the Snapezo frame. I decided to cut down my Frozen II theatrical poster to the 24x36 size instead of getting a 27x40 frame for it. Can't imagine such a big frame making it through transit with such cheap packaging. The covers that come with the frame are exactly 24x36.Five stars for the frame, three stars for the packaging. So four stars.
