Good but read the review!
Great boots, my first cowboy boots for over 20 years. Good points are comfortable straight out of the box, look fantastic with a pair of jeans and look like they should last well. I haven’t had them long though so time will tell. Bad points are the sizing is way off - ridiculously so. I’m normally a size 9.5 Uk and have wide feet. The 9.5 UK were ENORMOUS - so big that my son (who takes a size 11 UK) could comfortably put them on and walk around in them with no discomfort at all. The second pair are a UK 8.5 and although much better I think I could probably try a half size smaller - I couldn’t be bothered with returning another pair so decided to keep the 8.5s. The reviews on Amazon that say they fit true to size must be by people who have no idea what shoe size they really are. A quick google (which I only did after the sizing shenanigans) reveals most people order at least a full size smaller than their normal size. They are not the cheapest but seem good value for money. Time will tell on the durability front and provided I get a decent lifespan out of them I would buy another pair. Probably a size 8, 1.5 sizes SMALLER than my Hush Puppies, Lowa etc.

Great boots, great price...
Excellent and very comfortable boots. The first day I wore them (I'm in the UK) a lady from Connecticut asked me if they were Ariat boots. She recognised them as her son wears them for work all the time. Great recommendation!

Read the Reviews
Great boot, but they are oversized. I take a UK size 11 wide, and I sometimes struggle to fit into fashion footwear. These were about half a size to big. I should have taken the advice of other reviewers and ordered a smaller size. Uodate; UK Size 10.5 wide arrived today and they are a perfect fit. Very comfortable. I ordered the antique grey, but was aware that they are not actually grey - more of a dull brown. They look fantastic. They look and feel like I've had them for years. Amazon refunded the considerable postage fee for returning the original pair without a quibble. I am now a very satisfied customer.

Great quality
Best boots I've ever bought, they do have a high price tag but once you break these in a little it's like wearing a pair of slippers, so comfy, own a couple pairs of these now, 5*.

Great boots
These boots have just arrived and I'm happy to say that they fit more or less true to size. I was a bit apprehensive waiting for them due to conflicting reviews about the sizing. They are slightly bigger than other size 9s but I think half a size smaller would be too small. I wear them on my motorbike so the extra space would be good for wearing an extra pair of socks in the winter. They feel and look amazing and seem very well made.

Order half a size smaller
Great solid boots! Lots of other reviews saying order a size smaller than your usual but I went half a size smaller and they fit great! Comfortable with great support.

Alright, so, I haven't had a pair of boots since I was like, OK, well, let's just say it was pretty much 30 years ago. Remember when America loved country in the mid-nineties? Y'know, before Shania and Carrie, and Reba was the hottest woman in Country Music? Yeah, that era. So, it's been a minute. Why did I come back to this? Hell if I know, honestly, but, here I am, lifting weights, wearing camo and talking to God - just seemed like this was where things were headed and I embraced it. So I got the boots. Which, again, I have no real frame of reference, so, if you've had boots in the last 30 years, we probably have different expectations. Was I prepared for how soft the leather was? Nope, but, it's damn nice. Flares out my boot cut jeans a bit more than I was imagining, but I assume that'll change as we age together. Putting 'em on . . Again, I'm used to sneakers that I keep loose-laced and can slip on. Taking whole minutes to literally shove my foot in was not what I was expecting, but, understandable. Once I got into 'em, I understood why it was suggested to go half size down and one step wider. They're a little tighter than I'm used to across the top, but I think that'll loosen up with some more time in 'em, too. The half step down in size and going wider was clutch - they fit very well. The insole is also pretty comfy, looks like a memory foam kinda deal. Color is pretty accurate from the pictures, I've attached my own real-world example. They're definitely a square toe, which, I personally believe is more appropriate for men, and bottom line, they look right under jeans, where they should be. Your toes obviously aren't gonna fit all the way to the end, but I don't feel like I'm wearing clown shoes, either. Outsole felt pretty tacky at first blush, which was unexpected, but a welcome detail. I'm not worried about slipping in these, despite having a boot heel I'm not used to. Doing a few laps in the driveway, looking like I'm learning to walk, again, help mold 'em to my feet. So, in conclusion, I'm finna pop the tags and give these a fresh coat to make 'em mine - I'm keeping 'em and looking forward to many years in these boots. TLDR: color is pretty accurate, go half size down and one step wider, and you should be fine. Everything else is preference.

I usally go to the store to try on boots but This is the first set of boots i have ordered off the web and I had success with these fitting well the first time. First timers You need to order these one size smaller in order for them to fit right. Ariat has these ready to go right out of the box, as soon as these came in i put them on and had them all day at work and had no break-in problems. These boots are well made and can go from the street to the saddle without a problem day in and day out.
