Great
4 months of daily useMy son loves it! He uses it to get to and from work three miles away. The wide tires get him through rain and light snow.We followed the online directions for putting it together and it wasn't too tough of a task.He only has to charge it once a week.I suggest regularly checking and tightening the nuts & bolts, especially on the tires, they seem to loosen just a tad bit.You may want to add a second headlight if you use it at night often. It is very heavy, therefore folding it up and lifting it needs some strength.Overall, it was a great choice for the price!

Electric bike
Love love this bike!! I found a video on how to put it together. Had to watch it a few times, but I was able to do it. Love to have a paper manual so I can see what all it does this is a great way for a 65-year-old to get some exercise and enjoy a bike ride thank you for making this bike

A tank of a bike, best bike I've literally ever owned.
Let me preference this by stating this is my first ebike and the fact that it's somewhat modular is a wonderful. So I've included a pic in my review of my kneecap, why? you are probably asking, well... me and the bike had a bit of a accident, a car related accident.... don't worry me and the bike are actually fine, infact I SUFFERED MORE DAMAGE THEN THE BIKE DID, though sadly the damage to the bike is a bit more permanent, I will get to that in a moment and is by no means a knock against the bike. The collision was low speed and completely equal blame on me and the other party, and partially bad building placement.I got on the bike to go do some shopping, I felt the breaks were a bit loose, said to myself I'll tighten them when I get back, and then because I wanted to hurry... went too fast for my own good. She was a elderly woman who was blowing through a parking lot exit with a massive blind spot created by a building and our fates collided... literally her car collided with my left peddle sending me bouncing as I tried... in vain to stop myself but I did manage to move my leg out of the way of the front bumper so that's a plus hurray! ... my right leg kneecap on the other hand did not however avoid the pavement...But this bike, this beast of a bike... only left this encounter with a bent crank arm (still slightly bent but bent back easily to a more usable position) and a busted lcd but still functioning (replaced), a small crack in the front fender, and a tiny cosmetic dent on the front suspension. The bolts did get a bit loose and I had to readjust the handlebar breaks and the gear shifter, which also got a bit scuffed. Luckily and more importantly INTENTIONALLY I carry every possible tool to field tighten and light repair in the extremely waterproof saddle bag.(Accidentally left one open with nothing in it and the flap had a decent puddle formed in it)It's made it to my work which is over a very steep bridge into another town like a champ and with more then enough juice after both ways to tow around my dogs in the pet carrier. But to answer if my dogs were with me when I got hit... nope just my stupid self.Yes the breaks do loosen over time but they tighten easy and if you feel them get loose on you, tighten them... don't be me, don't be that person who thinks going out for a quick errand means you should forgo BASIC MANTAINENCE AND SAFETY. but if you want a very reliable affordable means of eco-friendly cost efficient traveling, the mars will comfortably do so and more.Just... ride responsibly.

Neat bike
It's a neat little bike. Very dependable. The biggest problem is there is nobody to take my difficulties to locally. If I were a bike shop I'd open a I'll tackle your ebike problems as a hobby in my spare time in aisle 3.The first week I encountered the dreaded Error 30 but discovered the taillight wire had gotten caught in my trailer attachment. When I secured it everything has worked good enough since. I can't get the total mileage to show on the readout since the error code.I've had it now for about 3 months. Daily use. 10 miles max. The small motor small battery combo function right. Engineered to do the best job.The small motor is great! I pull my German Shepherd, me, groceries, and haven't encountered any problems on the usual inclines. The initial start up from a dead stop is very lacking but it's okay.I'd read some reviews of riders losing their brakes on this particular bike so when that happened to me I was disappointed. Nobody in town will work on Amazon bikes. The brakes began driving me nuts about a month ago. I tightened them a couple times, not great but if I went slow... and then BAM no brakes at all no matter what!I did some research and discovered there's a very important bolt thingy to tighten on the inner side. Need a stubby to get to the rear one. But wow! They're so cool again!

Not Heybike Mars
I purchased this bike thinking it was a Heybike Mars, as listed in the description. After having issues with the rear brakes, brakes cycle on and off when braking, very dangerous, braking effort is minimal under full application. I contacted Heybike support and was told this is not their bike. The actual manufacturer is a different company, even though the listing claims it's made by Heybike.Even more confusing, the Amazon Heybike store links to this Jasion model under the Mars name. My family owns two real Heybike Mars bikes, and this one is clearly different. The tires are not the 4-inch fat tires that come with the Mars.To make things worse, both the Jasion and Mars models are combined under the same listing and share the same reviews, which is extremely misleading. Amazon needs to fix this!I contacted Jasion and was asked to take a video of the rear brake issue, while riding the bike. That’s not practical or safe. They also don’t have any phone support for technical help, you can only communicate via email, which makes resolving problems frustrating and haven’t gotten any response.Overall, this product is misrepresented on Amazon, and both the listing and support experience have been terrible! Stay away from this company!
