The molds work very well. I have made a bunch of pillar candles with them ... scented and unscented, colored and plain white. Based on some of the reviews here I think it's necessary to point out that you have to know how these types of seamless pillar molds work ... so how to feed the wick through the hole and how to center the wick. Look it up ... it's easy and there are good tutorials on YouTube that explain how to cast a pillar candle. You will need something to plug the wick hole with (I used putty) and something to center the wick (a wire or a wick-holding gizmo). Have fun! This is a fine product.

One of these works great, the other always gets stuck.

This product makes the wax come right out very easily. It is very useful. Just put them in the fridge over night with your homemade candle after it settles, and the next day the wax falls right out. Thank you for your great product.

I gave 2 stars because my candles got stuck and I ended up throwing the entire thing away.

I'm hating this product right now. I tried to plug up the hole at the bottom and the wax keeps leaking out making a mess, wasting wax, and messing up my wicks. I read one of the answers about rubber plugs for the holes. As small as the hole is why didn't the company just add the plugs with the product in the first place? Very disappointing. Now I have too find the plugs.

I already had these. I was looking for something that makes candles the size of the 7-day pull out candles. This was my mistake. These are about the same price as the ones from Michaels or AC Moore. I cannot FIND any round molds that are 2.5" wide. So many are either 2" or 3". When I used these, there were no issues getting the candle out. I prefer metal bc I simply boil them to remove any remaining wax (if necessary) or if I make any mistakes and have to reset my candle. Overall, these are about the size of a bathroom tissue roll in diameter but a bit taller. I use wire ties to hold the wick in place. I have also used the long part of a wire hanger set in place to leave room for the wick. Just depends on the wax I'm using.

One of the molds leaks around the bottom seam. Very disappointing when wax comes pouring out.

I wish it was easier to tell how big these were going to be. The release of the candle is great and easy...I wish it was easier to keep the wick straight, and that the bottom was actually the bottom of the candle, because i'm having issues placing the metal wick holder at the "bottom" of the candle, so I've been using the the top part as the bottom.
