Could You Escape the Paris Catacombs?: An Interactive Survival Adventure (You Choose: Can You Escape?)

Adventure Lives -- in the Paris Catacombs!
Fun adventure book that this adult enjoyed quite a bit. The Paris Catacombs are one of the strangest places on earth (I've visited twice), and this book does them justice. (A book like this for an exclusively adult audience could have been even richer, but I still had tons of fun with these young adult stories.) I'm also thrilled to see that the choose-your-own-adventure genre hasn't completely *died*! 😁

I loved the interactive style of writing and I definitely dipped into my old interactive goosebumps days and skipped ahead to get the best ending lol. I loved the writing style and this was definitely a fun read! The only issue is that I felt like the characters weren’t fully developed, but it was ok because there were pictures and the story was so fun!Verdict: It’s fun and would be a hit for any kid!

Simple cute adventure
Ok, don’t come here looking for deep, long, convoluted plot. It’s a simple book of just over 100 pages with 3 small adventures (3 scenarios in the same catacombs) to pick from. Not an ostensibly adult-targeted read so look elsewhere if you prefer totally adult-themed ones. That said, this is still enjoyable enough for a casual adventure over pockets of weekend or weeknight free time.
