For what I needed this for, a side sofa with an option for a guest to sleep on in my home office, this works great. The cost vs quality is in line with what I was expecting. It’s a well built, very easy to put together futon/sofa that feels good. Nothing great about it, but for what I paid for it, I really couldn’t ask for a better complete package.If you don’t want to spend 2-3 times as much for something similar, this will do easily.

Let me just state I paid extra for the assembly and delivery to whichever room chosen. I was not moving this couch 2 flights of stairs. With that said, I cannot speak on the assembly piece but I can say it did not take them long to assemble.I was hesitant to buy since some of the negative reviews talked about how firm it was, but if this is what is considered too firm than these same people must like soft beds. It's firm as in you don't sink into the mattress but it's soft enough that it doesn't feel like you are sitting/laying on a hardboard. This equates to a medium mattress so if you like those you should be fine with this. I have yet to have a complaint about it from guests who have both sat and laid on it.Only thing that could be better is more patting but it's not like I feel the springs of the sofa. This is currently located in the office and I believe it will make a fine addition and serve as another option to sleep if needed.

We saw a sofa bed very similar to this at Costco, when we went back to purchase it they were sold out; everywhere. We decided to look here on Amazon and found this piece which fit our space and offerd the same options as the original piece from Costco.When it arrived we were evry happy, not only was the quality just as good as the piece from Costco, we saved over $100.00 . If you are looking for a nice piece for an extra bedroom or for a large kids room for friends, this is perfect. It's not the nicest piece of furniture in the world but for what it costs (Delivered), the value is great! A great piece to use and use and not have to worry about it getting a little scratch, etc. It has held up well and performs exactly as we wanted it to.We highly recommend this piece, if you are thinking about it, do it!

I literally spent WEEKS researching for a futon here on Amazon...to make sure that I bought the right product for me. I do NOT have any back problems, but a like a comfortable place to sleep, as I live in a small studio. I read all reviews and thought I was buying something that would be comfortable. Last night was the first time. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE. IT IS LIKE SLEEPING ON A CONCRETE FLOOR. My freaking back hurts now...and again i do NOT have back problems. And i cant return this piece of garbage because I live alone, am in my 50s...so how am i going to pack this stupid thing up??????!!!!! This was like PISSSING $400 dollars away.

There were no instructions in the box. I called the manufacturer and a very nice man named Eric emailed the to me right away. They were not very helpful. the design of the legs makes it very difficult to get the bolts and screw installed. I read somewhere that it should only take 10 minutes to assemble but probably add an hour to that. The unit looks nice and is solid. If not for the assembly issues, I would have given the unit 4 starts overall.

We bought this futon for the upstairs bedroom for my daughter and granddaughter to sleep on. It is very nice looking and they say it’s comfortable. A full size fitted sheet fits okay (a little big). We had to flatten it out to get it upstairs because our staircase winds. I think it is a good value and it is sharp looking in the room. The delivery guy was great!

the sofa bed i bought is rather easy to assemble (however, it took some time to locate the bag with the pre-assembled parts) and it is very comfortable to sleep or have a nap. Also it is light in weight and easy to handle in my small apartment. Looks great in dark grey color or with a red plaid cover over.

Legs difficult to impossible to screw in.
