Item was perfect my OEM clutch lever was stuck on the pivot bolt
They worked perfectly on my 2020 CB500X.The following is about the issue I had and has nothing to do with the item. Just an FYII did however have a bunch of extra work to do with the clutch lever. The old lever was virtually welded to the pivot screw from several years of dust and probably not much grease on assembly. You can tell if you pull the lever and the screw turns it is probably stuck. I could not get it apart and I was not the first person with this issue. Yes, I did remover the lower nut, soaked it in penetrating oil, and fabricated a wide screwdriver but it was stuck-stuck-stuck- almost welded together. If you end up in this dilemma then, unless you are doing in the off riding season, should order a new 26 CAD assembly (the part that holds the lever), a new pivot screw 6 CAD AND a new switch / sensor 25 CAD. The sensor goes in from behind the lever and IF you cannot get the screw out you will be in for some creative Dremel tool work to extract it. The prices are all approximate.

Great value
Bought these for my 2019 YZFR3 and had no issues with this at all. I was on the fence about getting these because of all of the negativity towards copycat levers but at this point I'm chalking that up to fear mongering.I installed these and tightened everything down to the torque specs in the service manual for my model. I also played around with the clutch a bit to ensure the free play of the cable was good. The brake lever I was careful with as well to make sure everything was making contact where it needed to like the switch button. Also added some grease per the service manual to make sure nothing got stuck, especially the brakes.

*Almost* perfect fit for my GSXR750.
Okay, so overall, these receive great reviews across the board. With that being said, a handful of people have left some VERY concerning reviews regarding these being dangerous. This is regarding the brake lever. From what read, it has to do with the lever not allowing the master cylinder plunger to fully disengage, potentially causing the front brakes to overheat and potentially seize. I WILL say that the front lever did allow no relief at all between the cylinder plunger and the lever. Would it have caused an issue? I can't say. What I WILL say is it was a pretty easy fix. The OEM lever provided about 1-1.5mm of relief between the lever contact point and the master cylinder plunger. I simply filed down the lever, and polished the contact point to mimic the OEM lever relief of 1-1.5mm. Problem solved. Now, for the positives. First off, these are gorgeous. They appear super well made, and are gorgeously anodized red. The are well adjustable. Even the packaging was top tier. Both the clutch and brake fit my GSXR750 *almost* perfectly (see above lol). For the price, they can't be beat. Please just verify that the fit well and aren't potentially going to cause any problems. Some reference these as being plastic. They are actually aluminum. They're comfortable, with well travel, and feel great bolted on. I can't comment on durability as I just installed them, but I feel they should likely hold up very well.

Clutch lever fitment issues
I’m giving these levers 4 stars because while they look great and function well, they weren’t a direct fit for my 2006 CBR600RR specifically the clutch lever. For the price, though, you can’t complain too much it’s way cheaper than higher end options like ASV.The main issue was with the clutch pivot spacer. The one supplied with the lever didn’t fit the OEM clutch bolt, and the OEM spacer wouldn’t slide into the MZS clutch lever either. If you run into the same issue, here’s what I did:I wrapped sandpaper around a drill bit and carefully sanded the inside of the clutch lever where the spacer goes. Then I lightly shaved down the OEM pivot spacer. After about an hour and a half of careful work, I got the OEM spacer to fit about 3/4 of the way in—then tapped it in the rest of the way. Not ideal, and I don’t recommend forcing it, but so far it’s working with no issues on the clutch side. The front brake lever, on the other hand, was a perfect bolt on fit no problems there. In short: these levers are a great value and perform well once installed, but be ready to do a little DIY work on the clutch side if you’re using them on an 06 CBR600RR. A better fitting pivot spacer would’ve made this a 5-star product.

Good
Broke my clutch’s safety switch when installing :(. Built quality is very good, and looks good too. Good design, very user friendly. Worth the purchase.

Impressive and easy to install
OMG these are awesome! I’m impressed! Completely changes the feel of the clutch and break. They are so smooth and I love how they have just the right curvature. Stock levers are terrible! Get these! You’ll enjoy your bike so much more! Not to mention adjustability, I set mine closer due to shorter fingers and my riding experience went to the next level with these! You can watch a YouTube video how to install it’s like a less than 10 min job. Easiest thing I’ve ever done. MSZ has my 5 stars here!

Good levers easy install on my 25 z900, but tab on bottom of clutch is not long enough to press the button on the cruise control to let it activate
