these are just the coolest! My son is building a business making para cord bracelets with these and who wouldn't want one?!?

So this is literally the only time I was surprised in a great way I didn't read everything on a amazon page... I thought these only had a compass on them but had a nice surprise with the whistle and ferro rod. Already tried ferro rod, works well. Could not be happier and 2000 percent recommend for the price.

It's cheap plastic, with a mediocre compass, a kind-of-OK whistle, and a stick of pyrophoric alloy on one hand and a really sad looking metal scraper on the other. You can technically use it to make sparks. I haven't gotten it to light a fire yet, but I haven't yet used 'proper' bone-dry highly filamentous/fibrous tinder. The whistle is pretty sad, but if you hold it just right - horizontal, lips just touching the intake - you can get a kind-of-OK whistle sound out of it.I'd use this as a friendship bracelet clasp, but if you're building a bug-out kit, it's insufficient for any of the things it's trying to do. But for bracelets? Awesome. It'll at least make you think "Man, I'm glad I have an actual map and compass, and firestarters, and a real whistle and mirror in my kit! Because if I had to use this thing I'd be f'd!"

Perfect, quality is spot on.

While I like the survival aspect of the buckle features, it actually only works for larger bracelets. My grandchild really wanted one, but her wrist was too small for the buckle to attach properly.

These were great. The compass really adds to the appeal of paracord survival bracelet. The compass quality is very good. Some buttom compasses are very poor and stick but these all worked great. I have not found a bad one in the bunch.

Buckles are great ,I used one for my watch , I’m 65 with heart and on oxygen 24/7 and flying home after going to Cleveland Clinic for treatment , at Cleveland Hoptin airport the TSA wouldn’t let me thru the checkpoint with the metal stricker in this buckle , save yourself a hassle
