280-Pcs [#7 5/8'' to 2-1/2''] Phillips Bugle Head Coarse Thread Drywall Screw Self Tapping Wood Screws Assortment Kit Ideal for Drywall Sheetrock - Zinc Plated Carbon Steel

I needed some Non rusting Drywall/Wood type Screws to use on some outside Projects of mine. Had it been just some ordinary wood project, I would of just picked thru my drawers and got some of the hundreds of black bulge head screws I already have. So I saw these and thought these might be just what I need. The box came and I opened it up and along with a couple of other items, I found this Box of 280pcs with all the little separators broke off and Every Screw mixed together at one end of the plastic box. They Don't come in little bags like other Screws Sets I ordered, so they are a sorting mess. I took sev pics but I have to email them to post on amazon. Truthfully I'm debating on sending back for a Refund, otherwise I have 280 Screws to sort. Not very pleased. Should of been bagged or secured in a Better Box

These screws are my go-to at the moment. Everything you need in a good wood screw set.Sadly the plastic case is terrible. If you get them, you'll want to flip the dividers upside down as they're slightly thicker on the top end and won't fall out that way. Careful, don't drop it as the case will most likely crack or break. If it doesn't, the latches will open and everything will spill out, leaving you with 200 screws to organize and store, probably elsewhere.Better yet, get a different storage solution for these.

I thought I was by the equivalent of sheet rock screws the screws are a narrower gauge thinner.

Product is as described. The only issue was that after shipping; all the various sizes were mixed up all over the place so the inside of the box was pretty much a mess.

Drill a pilot hole for these. Poor quality. Head strips out very easily.👎
