I’ve been looking at getting some intercoms for my home for a while because I work from home and hate yelling back and forth to the kids. I looked at so many kinds and decided to go with this because I can take it with me around the house and even outside. The battery on it lasts a good while and it’s light weight so I don’t feel it hanging off my hip when moving around.

Needed something quick and not too hard to use. This item fit the bill for us. Happy with purchase.

Since my partner is practically confined to the upstairs bedroom, because of her medical condition, I decided an intercom was necessary. This Chtoocy intercom fits the bill very well for the following reasons:- the "phone" style makes it natural to hold and talk; the charger which the intercom sits in, like a phone, has a very small footprint- like a wireless phone, I can take mine to whatever room I go to or when I'm working outside the house- the "Talk" button on the side is comfortable to press when holding the intercom(obviously you can't talk while the other intercom person is talking, but no big deal)- there's also a "VOX" feature which works well so you don't have to push the "Talk" button(it takes a second for the "VOX" to kick in, so make your first word a throwaway, like "gotya")- the audio is clearly discernible and the volume control has a good range- the "Call" button produces an appropriate sound and loudness- we only need one frequency channel, but it's nice to have 9 more for any future plans- it has "MON [ITOR]" and "GRO [UP]" buttons, features we don't need but again it's nice to have for any future plansWe recently received it so I can't speak to it's longevity, battery life, or range, but I'm guessing those won't be problems. It looks and feels well made with a simple, clean styling. For me it was a great choice.

First the good stuff:1. Handsets were comfortable and easy to hold...with the familiar feel of a small cordless phone2. Customer service was very responsive...answered my email overnight.3. One of the handsets was defective and they offered a few simple remedies or to immediately replace itNow the not so good stuff:The instructions were vague or non-existant or did not explain clearly how to set up the intercomsAlso, the entire system could have been a lot less complicated. With too many variables and not clearly written instructions, I decided to return and look for a more straight forward system.

These is exactly what I needed. My mother is living in our RV and I needed a way to talk with her. The sound is very clear and the battery last a while they are perfect. I also like that you don’t have to change batteries you just set it on the cradle and good to go. They are very easy to use once charged we were able to use them. The call button is handy as well sounds like a phone ringing which lets you know the person wants to talk. Oh and their customer service is super. I had to email them regarding one of the walkie-talkies and they got right back to me.

It serves its purpose but the battery does not last long and it take a long time to charge.

Very good range. Batteries seem to be an issue. But customer support takes care of that.

I needed a way for my boyfriend and I to communicate between our upstairs home and the downstairs Studio and this worked out perfect ! Great price, very easy to use and the sound quality was good as well !

Kind of inconvenient. One in basement and one upstairs. Unless its in the base and the base is close by it loses charge and is not useful. I find you only hear half of the conversation because both parties tend to talk at same time and you cant hear the other person. Better to purchase more expensive. The ring feature is nice to have though when someone is calling you.
