Best business/gaming laptop ever!
Definitely a must for me. My job is mostly travel based so I needed a laptop that would fit in a business environment (to non-computer savvy people it looks just like a black version of the MacBook Pro minus the razer logo which can be covered up by a matte black dbrand skin and the rgb keyboard which I just set to white) as well as allow me to play my games when I’m away from home.Gaming: I get 180 FPS average on RS: Seige at 1440p ultra settings and no taa (it’s a blurry mess and only renders at half resolution so I keep it off) and the cpu never exceeds 80C and the 3080 never above 71C. The 14 inch screen is very pixel dense at 1440p so anti-aliasing isn’t needed for games which improves performance!Battery life: I’m super happy with the battery life. On better battery life with screen dimmed to 210 nits I get 14 hours battery life doing office stuff. At full brightness white point is at 350 nits which is good enough for in full sunlight viewing (also thanks to the anti-glare matte display coating, glossy displays would need to be 500 nit screens to perform as good.CPU: the ryzen 9 5900hx is very powerful yet sips the power and remains cool doing every day and medium duty tasks. So much so that the only time I’ve ever heard the fans start spinning is when I video game which is a big deal!Build Quality: the CNC machined aluminum body is amazing, very sturdy design (so much so I couldn’t believe it was also so thin), uniform black anodizing, and good clean lines. The only gripe is the finger prints. Black and dark colors are notorious for showing finger prints and oily smudges (which is why Apple went with grey color as it masks the fingerprints better) the 2021 razer blade 15’s got an added anti-fingerprint coating to combat this but unfortunately the blade 14 didn’t get the same treatment. My only other gripe is the rgb keyboard. For some reason your rgb settings are not saved to the bios instead the razer synapse software loads your rgb preferences after logging in to windows so I have to hide the rainbow keyboard during business meetings, etc until my white keyboard lighting gets loaded. RAZER, if you care about being the windows version of Apple (ie high end metal laptops for professionals that like to game) you need to fix 3 things:1. Make a sleeper blade 14 with the subtle stealth 13 razer logo.2. Either fix the rgb so it’s saved to bios so the keyboard doesn’t commence with unicorn vomit every time I open my computer or just make a blade 14 keyboard that’s just white leds.3. ANTI-FINGERPRINT coating!!!! Seriously, we are walking advertisements for your products and most people walking by and catching a glimpse of the laptop will be turned off by the guaranteed smudges and fingerprints on it. It’s impossible to touch this thing without leaving them all over it.

Best gaming ultrabook in the world! :D
I rushed to buy it as soon it was released and I don`t have no regrets at all! For small gaming laptop amazing performance, low fan noise around 40-45db, and very decent temperature and amazing battery life in such compact package! I managed to get even 14 hours and 35 minutes on full hd 60 hz, 30% brightness from it which is very impressive for gaming laptop for this size. No to mention that superb razer build quality and awesome speakers. Trust me, You definetly won`t regret buying it!

Several months have passed since the patch and still no BIOS update for AMD Processors
2022-08-18 Update: It's been several months since AMD released a patch for the stuttering issue with Ryzen and Windows 11. Razer has not even acknowledged it nor have they indicated that the patch would be implemented for this laptop. Searching on their website, it only lists an older BIOS from June 2021. Avoid this laptop if you plan on running Windows 11. Better yet, avoid Razer products altogether as they don't seem to care enough to update firmware for any of their EXPENSIVE laptops. Had I known, I would have gone with ASUS.Original: Where do I begin... the goods: This is by far the nicest laptop I've own. Also the most expensive. The feel is good. The chassis is rigid and the bottom cover is easily removed. The screen is beautiful, small, but beautiful. Plenty of ports for what I need. Speakers are loud and sounds decent for a laptop of this size. The battery life is amazing if you tweak the settings a bit.The bad... It get HOT. And when it gets hot, the fans are definitely audible. It will distract some that are more sensitive to such noise. The keyboard feels good but you really have to use pressure to get it to register a keystroke. There's a tactile click to it, but even then, it may miss a keypress if you don't apply enough pressure. Windows 10 Home... Really? For a nearly $3k laptop? To make matters worse, you cannot upgrade to Win10 pro. It keeps failing and telling me the key doesn't work. Even a key bought digitally from the Microsoft store. It automatically defaults to my Microsoft account as an activation license. I've tried Razer Support (no luck) and Windows Forums (no luck).Lets talk about the graphics. 3080... great! Integrated Graphics included,,, makes sense for battery life. No MUX switch for such an expensive laptop is unacceptable. The Razer site lists this laptop as dGPU only capable, but no where can that be found. I've checked the BIOS, via the Razer Software and even nVidia Control Panel doesn't see it. I can force performance settings under the advanced graphic settings, but that doesn't do much. The video still has to go through the CPU/iGPU before it hits the screen. You can definitely notice the difference if you hook this laptop up to an external screen. You'll see a definite performance boost. For a laptop geared towards gamers, they should have put in a MUX switch for the graphics. They also capped the power for the GPU to 100W. The 3080 inside this laptop will perform more like a desktop 3060 because it won't get enough power. There's a lot to like about this laptop. Unfortunately there's a lot to hate about it as well. In hindsight, I would have saved some money and bought the 3070 model. I'd have less buyer's remorse knowing my 3070 inside will perform like a 3060 rather than an extremely gimped 3080 model.

solid built
Pro: This thing is built like a tank. Keyboard is tight, track pad is nice and big, sometimes a tad finicky, but could be the user... screen is sharp and no dead pixels. excellent speakers. Highly recommended for snes emulator, shopping, and youtube.Negative: Wished it came pre-installed with window 10 pro.
