This is an expensive bit of kit, but separates the Lions from the cubs. Good quality and I would recommend.

Like anything from Wera, expensive but well made. This socket set will last a lifetime. Supplied in a very compact case and is ideal.

Fantastic set beautifully made and in a really nice metal box. Will last a lifetime if looked after. The sockets are colour coded up to 19, the fact you can use the ratchet as a screwdriver is a really nice bonus, there are bits included that cover most common situations, and the kraftform handle is really comfy as well.

Was trying to change a car engine fan belt, and kept failing to loosen a key bolt, which had rounded over. Had tried all my tools and finally resorted to buying this set.On the first attempt, the Vera socket managed to grip the bolt. This saved me a very expensive trip to the mechanic. These tools were barely more than the cost of getting my car towed!Very happy to recommend this set (and all the other tools that Vera produce).

Overall great. I use them to replace a Halfords set (also good, probably best for next price point down). They are very good, noticeably a premium product. I use them professionally but still not entirely sure they justify their price. If (as i did) you get VAT back and they are a business expense as well then definately worth it, otherwise probably overkill. Then again I have never regretted buying expensive tools, as long as you have the discipline to only buy what you actually really need.

Brilliant socket set; almost too pretty to use in dirty places like under a LandRover. But I do and it is excellent, especially the socket retaining system preventing leaving the socket on the work, and the out-of-line deriver extension. Excellent ratchet; tough sockets; brilliant case.

I bought this set to work on an old land rover and have to say I am very satisfied. I have other socket sets but this one seems to be my go to set now, with all of the sizes in one compact case.The one issue I did have was that the first set I received, one of the sockets was the wrong size. It was marked up as an 8 but was actually a 10 and the set had a correctly marked up 10 already in. I contacted Amazon and they happily exchanged it.

I like this Wera socket set for a lot of reasons:1) The sockets are tough and tight fitting2) The sockets are clearly marked both with colors and easy to read sizes3) The sockets are knurled so they can be turned by hand once a fastener is loosened4) The sockets have a slightly roughened finish which makes them less slippery with gloves5) The extensions provided are thoughtfully made. One has a "wobble" feature to allow angled use. The others allow you to lock the sockets to the extension6) The sockets cover an unusually wide range maxing out at 24mm7) The ratchet handle, while appearing "gimmicky" is really well designed. The socket lock and reversing switch are well designed and it can swivel to a screwdriver position. The largish head size hasn't been as awkward as I expected8) The sturdy metal case has a foam insert that grips the sockets. Much less likely to dump them all out it the case is tipped over.The set was expensive but it resolved a lot of issues I have had with previous sets.

The set is awesome! The ratchet with adjustable head is truly innovative and helps in reaching different angles with ease.
