Upgrade Stackable Building Base Plates- Baseplate 10" x 10" in Variety Color, Compatible with All Major Brands (6PC Mixed)

I was looking for a sturdy baseplate for my kids to use. We've bought LEGO brand ones previously and they were so thin that the children snapped them in half with some of their play. (Unfortunately my children seem to be VERY rough with their toys.) These baseplates had the added benefit of being able to build on both sides. I was worried that the larger pieces might not fit just right (a problem many off-brand block systems seem to have) but these ones work great! They are a little stiff to snap in place, but not so much that the children have any problems. They hold very tightly (you can even turn the plates upside down and the LEGOs stay on these baseplates). And the spacing and tolerances are right, we are even able to snap the LEGO brand smaller building bases onto these bases with no issues. Very pleased, they are better quality than the LEGO brand ones and my kids LOVE them. I only wish that the same company also sold tan ones for desert/sand as well!

Kids (and mom) are thrilled. Now we have all the base plates we need (at least for the time being). They are sturdy and thick. They are much thicker then the LEGO brand plates, so if gluing down to make a LEGO work table cannot mix and match with LEGO brand base plate. Nice part is that they can be used well without gluing down and moved around easily do the thickness. When it comes to compatibility, I would almost say that they are a little more "stickier", for lack of a better word. What I mean is when you attach the LEGO bricks they are really on there, but for us that was not a problem at all. If we ever get our LEGO/Craft/Photography/Game room then we would buy more to make a giant table just like the LEGO Movie. Overall wonderful deal for the money. Just need white now!

We have tones of legos and I was skeptical to buy theses plates. But the price and people reviews helped me make the decision. These plates works well with the legos. They are stronger because they are thicker compare to the lego ones. You cannot use them to connect to other legos plates unless you level them. However they are fantastic to create different level floors. So my son created an airport with garage space under it. My daugthers created a house with different floors level. Will definitively buy it again for sure. The price and the use of it is worst 5 stars.

High quality, very well made. Good substitute product to build a small project on however buyer beware - if you are trying to fit a LARGE PLATE or smaller BASEPLATE onto this base plate then forget about it. If the Lego piece is larger than 4x6 plate, it will not fit, will cause this baseplate to bow upwards, simply too many pins stacked for the plate to handle. The plates will pop off and cause major frustration.If you're using them to build up on or to use with 2x4s and such - you'll be fine.If you have avid lego fans in your house - I would just pay a few extra dollars for the name branded plates. Those are guaranteed to be 100% compatible, these I can assure you do not take larger plates at all.

Building Base Plates 10" x 10" - 6 pack multi color review: I purchased these for my grandsons train table to make his mini lego city, these are nice, thick and his lego structures & people etc. fit perfectly, well worth the price. It arrived the next day .......super fast shipping and nicely packed. I purchased 2 packs after reading another review of other non lego building plates not working together, being thinner or not lining up. See Photo, I'm going to rearrange it to create roadway, may even cut them but he has many different themes. Police, Batman, Superhero and Star wars all legos. Seller also sent me directions on how to use, glue down and cut. I would purchase again from this site "DreambuilderToy" he's just getting started with these legos.

These baseboards are awesome! I have used a few different generic base plates and brick products, but I haven't found any others that work as well as this one. It is a little thicker than typical LEGO base plates because it is STACKABLE. In my opinion, this simply adds to the allure of the product. We've used them to build multi-tier towers that are a lot of fun. They are very compatible with LEGO bricks and have held up well so far. I have only had them for about a month, but they seem sturdy enough to last.

We normally buy or get gifts of just Lego brand however with more of our kids playing with Lego's now we are in need of adding certain pieces like base plates (and mini figures) to round out our collection.Bought these to glue down on a table but once the base plates arrived my son quickly pointed out that you could connect Lego peaces underneath! He was thrilled :). And they did not get glued down.They work great with Lego's and building multi-story buildings. I have children ages 3 - 9 playing with them and there has not been any complaints or fustration on how Lego's fit.It's a great price for the amount of plates you get! These were purchased to convert a train table into a Lego table for my 4yo and 6yo boys. They fit perfectly and the kids loved the colors while having no problem fitting their brand name Legos onto the base plates. I extensive researched prices and quality before committing to this buy, and this was by far (for two sets/12 based) the best and perfect quality purchase. Please note we did not permanently affix the plates to the table, as we did not want to ruin the table, so this review can speak to how well they hold up long-term when applied with glue, etc. They are holding up fine as non-fixtures, which my kids like because they can bring them on car trips.
