2.4lb Succulent and Cactus Bonsai DIY Rocks, White Gravel for Terrarium, Fairy Gardening, Top Dressing, Mini White Rocks

I like to mix this in with my succulent & cacti potting soil in order to get the proper ratio for good drainage. The nice thing about this gritty mix is that the rocks are small which makes potting in small pots easier and is gentler on plant roots I think. A lot of gritty mix I have used has large sticks and rocks which I dislike especially when potting delicate plants/roots. There isn't a lot of dust that comes off of this mix. My plants are thriving which is the most important thing. Gritty mix in general can be expensive. The price of this for 2.5 lbs is excellent compared to the price of other popular brand names. I definitely recommend this brand gritty mix.

I really like this mix and I use it for so many of my plants, especially my Alocasias and Hoyas. I add pumice, perlite, and Leca to the mix which helps stretch my supply and adds some other drainage/oxygenating components.This is my favorite base for diy Pon.

This was a great buy! The shipping speed, the value for dollar, and quality of product. This can be mixed with organic material, used with perlite, or as a top dress. Only thing is, I recommend rinsing before use to eliminate the dust. Straight out the bag, the medium appears a bit lackluster, but once rinsed- it's fantastic. Will repurchase, and recommend thoroughly.

Color looks great and good size for small pot succulents.

I mix the bonsai soil, mostly gritty material, with succulent soil for faster draining. For cactus I use mostly this bonsai soil with little else as they like rockier soil

You need three important elements to successfully show your cactus: the cactus itself, a nice pot, and some great gravel! This product not only pops with earth colors but is also healthy for your succulent. Highly recommended.
