This large metal bowl is great to use for mixing ingredients for cakes and cookies. I used it to make a banana bread and was quite pleased with it's size. This product is of high quality and will withstand the test of time. Great product and the Seller offers it at a great price point.

I LOVE this stainless steel mixing bowl!!! 18.5 L, 8" deep, 16 1/4" wide ID (17" wide OD) on top, bottom of bowl is 8 1/2" wide. This bowl DOES fit in the bottom rack of my dishwasher & is dishwasher safe!! It is very heavy duty, which is exactly what I wanted. The inside is highly polished, the outside top "band" is highly polished, & the rest of the outside of the bowl is a softer, kind of a "matte" finish.This is a very heavy weight, durable,& sturdy bowl, it is NOT light, but it is not too heavy to carry. I see no reason that this bowl won't last a lifetime & look great at the same time. I was impressed that this bowl came at a reasonable price for such a high quality piece.The flat bottom is large enough to really give this bowl great stabilization when your mixing a lot of heavy ingredients inside it.I would greatly recommend this stainless steel bowl to anyone needing a heavy duty & sturdy bowl. If you are looking for a lightweight thin bowl...this is not the one for you.Update (2 years from purchase)I have regularly used this bowl, and put it through the dishwasher, and it still shines and looks AMAZING!! It doesn't have the slightest hint of rust, not the tiniest ding, or issues. I simply love it!!

I love to bake! My glass bowls are difficult to store and stack without chipping or breaking. These stainless steel bowls are sturdy, lightweight, and so easy to clean! Perfect addition to my kitchen.

I love the stainless steel and how large it is! We can make a salad for a family of 5 in this thing and still have leftovers! My one complaint is that it says it is heavy duty and professional in the description, so I expected there to be a slightly thicker weighted bottom, and it doesn't. But thats okay :-) I still like the bowl!

Trying to find a cover for LP gas tanks is difficult. The suppliers of big tanks have special covers to protect the valves and regulators located on the top, but if you use one or two of the 100 pound (20 gallon) tanks, you are out of luck. This size tank is ideal for cabins or homes that only have small or light-duty propane appliances, but the valve is still subject to being inaccessible due to snow or ice. Often the regulator is located in that location as well, making it more important to protect.After looking everywhere, I came upon the use of one of these stainless steel bowls. They are easily adaptable by drilling a few small holes and installing some attachment hardware. You can even cut a notch out of the side of the bowl for an exit pipe if you protect the sharp edge with a piece of rubber hose slit lengthwise and slipped around the edge. I used the 8 quart size and it works perfectly.As far as use as a mixing bowl, take note that this is very very thin, and mine arrived with a slight dent in the bottom. Of course that was an issue that really made no difference for my use.

I’ve been looking for a large bowl for years to bake. Other bowls have been cheaply made and not stable as you are mixing. This bowl is professionally made, good quality.

This looks like a very good bowl. Just what I wanted except that it is a 2.5 quart bowl and I ordered 3 quart.I really wanted a 3 quart bowl.
