I used this PP in solution to dry up an episode of Pompholyx/dishydrotic eczema on the sole of my foot. This soak has cleared up the issue, which included a large infected blister. I added small amounts of the crystals using the tip of a knife to a bowl of warm water until the water went light purple. I used a latex glove to stir the water to dissolve the crystals. Don’t forget to apply petroleum jelly to nails to avoid staining. I soaked for anything between 10-15 minutes. Using this product was relatively cost effective compared to others including the tablet form of the product. I have plenty left over for future treatments.

Absolutely brilliant stuff. I'm not going to tell you what are used it for because it top-secret.

For those who know this is great to have for bushcraft and in the survival tin it has many benefits.

My rain butt was smelling very strongly and after cleaning it out I used just a pinch of potassium permanganate to keep the water fresh. Perfect, no more smells and the water looks very clear.

Purchased to use in a horribly smelly water butt . Water still looks contaminated but the smell has gone.

If you are using this for fire lighting with sugar It will definitely give you purple powder, but nothing else, certainly doesn't start a flame, so not sure what I've been sold here but its not fit for purpose. Tried it with sugar (Friction) and glycerine, and nothing happens. Dont waste your money.
