If you are a sim racer or flight simmer whose Buttkicker Gamer amplifier finally gave up the ghost, look no further. I bought the Nobsound G2 to replace my failed proprietary unit, and honestly, I wish I had done it sooner. The Highlights: Power to Spare: Despite its tiny footprint, this little mono amp puts out plenty of "kick." I was worried 100W wouldn't be enough to drive the transducer, but it handles the Buttkicker Gamer shaker with ease. Built-in Low Pass Filter: The SUB mode switch and frequency knob are game-changers. I can dial in the crossover (40Hz–300Hz) so it only shakes on the low-end thumps and engine rumbles without that annoying "chatter" from high-frequency game audio. Runs Cool: Unlike my original amp which used to get quite hot, the G2’s aluminum chassis stays relatively cool even after a 2-hour racing session. Compact Design: It takes up about a quarter of the space of the original BK amp, making it much easier to mount or hide on my rig. Setup Tip: Make sure to flip the switch on the front to "SUB" (not PBTL) and check the gain switches on the bottom. I set mine to the higher gain setting to get the maximum punch from my LFE signals. Bottom Line: For a fraction of the cost of an official replacement, this is a more adjustable and reliable solution. It saved my haptic setup from the trash heap!

Cheap, good sound and really fast delivery! I bought a cheap 450W powered sub on eBay but it didn't work. Scouring the net I found this amp and decided the outlay was worth risking on an unproven speaker. I ditched the old amp (but salvaged the banana plug terminals and internal wiring) and hooked up this new amp—needless to say, it surpassed my expectations. TBH, I've noticed the tiniest bit of a hum from it, but I previously had huge issues with a ground loop that made my previous set-up un-listenable. Once I've got music or a movie going, the hum is not at all noticable, even on quiet stuff. From what I've seen, there aren't many other mono amps at this price with a frequency dial. And there's even fewer with a bridged mode (PBTL), not that I need this functionality myself. My only wish is that the frequency dial doesn't have any measurements on it, so I've had to guess where the 80Hz mark is. Finally, mine was delivered next day. Very impressed!

I used this to replace a plate amplifier on a powered subwoofer for a pair of monitors. The reason I wanted to replace the existing amp was because it had a lot of white noise whenever it was turned on, which was a problem in the quiet, near-field listening environment I had set up. The old amp also suffered from interference (cell phone buzz buzz buzz sounds). This nobsound amp fixed both of those issues. The white noise is minimal, and it has gain switches (which I set to the minimum value) which reduced it further. Someone in another review mentioned there's a pop when the unit powers off, but that's only true if you cut power to the unit (by turning off a power strip). If you use the on/off switch on the unit there's no pop. The amount of power is more than enough for my needs, which aren't much (it's an 8" subwoofer for near-field listening). The amp stays very cool. The built-in EQ worked fine and I was able to tune it to match my monitors without too much trouble. I wish it had an adjustable phase, but you can always invert the phase by swapping the speaker leads, so no big deal. The RCA input is also a bit of a bummer (my previous sub was balanced XLR) but I haven't noticed any hum or other interference problems, so I guess it doesn't matter. For the price, I couldn't be happier.

サブウーハーとの併用でButtkickerの重低音振動ユニットを以前から使用しており、 振動ユニットのみ単体のサブウーファー用アンプで駆動していましたが、 元ソースとして使用しているAVアンプのLFE（※低音域効果音チャンネル・通常は アクティブサブウーファーの駆動用に使用）ライン出力が低いのか、 ある映像ソースでは丁度いいのに別のソースでは目一杯ボリュームを上げても 殆ど反応しなかったりと今ひとつ安定せず、かといってAVアンプのLFEを弄ると 今度は全体的な音のバランスが崩れるという、どうにも決まらない状況でした。 こちらのサブウーファーアンプも基本仕様は元々使用していたものと殆ど一緒でしたが、 入力ソース側のゲイン調節が可能という点に惹かれて購入。デフォルトより１段低い 入力ゲインで設定したところ、従来のサブウーファーアンプでは殆ど反応しなかった 映像ソースで振動ユニットが反応し、元々が丁度よい映像ソースでも音量ボリュームの 可変範囲で調整可能と、まさに狙い通りの効果で上々の使い勝手です。
