Curious to know if the map is up-to-date.

We try to update the Hugg-A-Planet as often as new countries and borders emerge, for instance Chechoslovkia is no longer a country but now two, we have them labeled in a somewhat abbreviated form, Chech for the Chech Republic and Slovakia, you will also notice that recent Hugg-A-Planets since 2012 have South Sudan labeled, there is a sea of information about how new countries are recognized and eventually get onto new editions of world maps. Sometimes we even get to be the first commercially available globes to recognize new countries. Unfortunately we do not make any Hugg-A-Pangea but I will take this to R&D and see if we can develop something.

Amazon tells me "WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD--Small parts. Not for children under 3 yrs". Uhh, what small part is there on a stuffed globe?

No small parts. Its just like a pillow. Got it for my 9 year old but my 2 year old loves it as well

Do the countries line up along the seams? Or are there gaps with missing information?
