Does your hair stay soft?

No. The next day it softens up but the first day...not at all.

Mine comes out of the bottle as a liquid not a mousse. Suggestions?

Mine does the same. Not a fan of this product, will not purchase this again.

Does this help hold curls for hair that is normally straight but curled with an iron?

I haven’t tried it, my hair is naturally wavy and I usually use it on wet hair. It does have a strong hold and may be leave a white flaky residue if you dry and curl your hair.

Does it make your hair look wet even after its dry

Yes it does. If you comb it though,it doesn't look wet anymore.
