I love these lights i have so many of them in my room. These are synced to my Govee TV Backlight 3 Lite. That is the video of them doing the color of whats on the tv. I will say that i had my last set for about 4 years until the power bring stopped working so i had to fine one at a home depot or lowes but then i didn't like that it wasn't what the lights came with so i got a new set. The strip is great when it comes to quality and brightness. You get some different diy and other preset ways to control them. I use my Echo device to do sunrise and then when my alarm goes off it looks like im waking up to the sun and its not too bright it slowly illuminates. My Tv is Google so when i ask it to turn on my PlayStation of Xbox it will change them to the corresponding color for that system. Then when i have music mode on they all sync together like im in a club. The set up is easy but since they strips are solderer to the controller make sure you plan the rout of the light. You do have a few ways to control them. There's the controller on the strip, i would recommend the app it gives you so many options and and color setup. Keep and eye on the power brick cool i had two of the previous versions and their brinks stopper working so i had non working lights.

These are by far the BEST LED lights I’ve ever owned! I e had mine up for about 2 years now. They are long lasting, bright, I love the adjustable display for each setting, the app that allows you to turn them on from another room! They are just amazing! I will purchase them again. They are worth every single penny!!!!!

These are really cool! They are adjustable and several options to choose from on the settings. We used them to put on the backside of our son’s bed (it’s a tall wall) and it lights up the wall and shows through the top roof of the bed it’s really cool! He says this is his favorite thing in his room.

I love these lights! I ordered the other version last year of these lights that didn't have the protective coating on them; they were so flimsy and very easily damaged. These however are very sturdy, extremely bright, and have so many more features than the other ones via the Govee app. People mention how they don't stick to the wall well, but I haven't had any problems with that overall. I got the 65 ft set. A downside is supposedly you can't cut them so I just put the extra right below the other. I didn't want to risk messing something up. But I put garland over the lights anyway so it's not noticeable. I've read other reviews on these that talk about the limitations on the segmented sections. I don't care about doing anything super customized so that isn't a problem. The connectivity to my Google Home is totally fine. To be fair, our wifi setup is in the same room that the lights are in. When it comes to installation, I put them along the top of my wall with my husband unreeling them as we went, on the floor below. It's definitely a 2 person job especially if you get the coated strips. They can get quite weighty. I did have to screw in a couple of wall clips (that were provided in the box) to hold up the first bit of strip. I had trouble continuing without doing this first. The strip would just start to come right off from the weight. The box that connects the lights is pretty hefty. You'll definitely have to figure out where to sit it or hide it. Overall though, it's still a huge upgrade from the other version of Govee lights so I'm thrilled! I recommend them for the money!

The adhesive on these are horrible! I had them up for about a month and they started to come off. other than that these lights are a must! i would get the more expensive alternative because 1, the adhesive is better, and 2, the lights are less heavy because they have no protective lair.

Easily install above our cabinets. Quality is there, easily installed app to control the lights on your phone. Get so may compliments on them. So may colors for the Holidays & every day.

I decided to use these strips for crown lighting and was impressed at the results. I installed them on the furring strip with the attached 3m tape and hot glued the corners. (I didn’t use the ribbon loop for corners as recommended, but rather made the corners wide so as to not stress the strips). Setting them on the furring strip behind the moulding was enough to diffuse the light so you don’t see the individual diodes. I know Govee says you can’t cut these strips, but you can; as long as you’re mindful of what you’re doing and how these lights work. Make sure you use good connectors and reattach cutoffs back to where you cut them off for the sake of continuity for the lights dynamic modes. Do your research first! But this was my first time ever working with led strips and I had no trouble cutting and installing connectors and extensions without affecting the light’s functionality. I recommend the waterproof connectors from the nighthawk store on here. They’re black and clear and good quality. Make sure to get waterproof connectors for these strips; even if you’re not installing in a wet environment. “Waterproof” designates the dimensions of the connectors. These lights have a water resistant coating and the waterproof connectors allow for that extra clearance for the coating while ensuring a tight fit. The technology and customization abilities within their app is where these lights shine above the competition. Having played with these for weeks now, I’ve only begun to scratch the surface of all that they can do. The app interface is very user friendly, but with so many possibilities for customization; I’m still finding new features and capabilities. My only issue with these was installation given that the light strips themselves are hardwired to the system. I wish that you could disconnect the strips like you can the power supply. Allowing more disconnection points in the wiring between power between inverter/switch and switch/strips would make installation easier. Also offering different lengths of cords for the above would allow the customer to be able to customize their installation and put the on/off switch at the most convenient point. It would also help the customer get a cleaner overall finish without having to hide cords, install new outlets, or have the equipment be an eyesore. These are just a recommendation for Govee’s future designs, but I couldn’t justify it as enough to lower my rating of the product. I have Phillips hue bulbs all over my house and was going to install their version of led strips for my project until I saw the price tag. Govee’s version are a fraction of the cost, without sacrificing quality. I’ve never played with the Phillips led strips, but I really can’t imagine what they could offer that would outperform Govee. Very satisfied with this purchase and you will be too.

I have been happy with the initial purchase and set-up with Govee. This is my second product purchase. I have them under the counter and wrapped around my windowpane for Christmas. Pros: • High quality • Simplw to install • Easy connection to Google Home/Alexa • Superbstrong adhesive • Super bright lights Cons: Length of the string was on rolls instead of one continuous roll.
