Does the job
Use the recommended product. Must be cleand from time to time. My fingers tire out from squeezing the bottle if I have a lot of gluing to do. Great for detailed gluing!!

Wish I'd bought it sooner
These have opened my world when it comes to painting. I hated masking fluid and the stench but these bottles keep the smell at bay. They truly are easy to clean and don't clog up thanks to the pin in the cap. I put off buying these for years and wish I'd bought them sooner. I'm now able to do fairly fine lines and large areas with out worry. There's no picking masking fluid out of bristles, trying to comb, scrub, or other wise PRY hardened latex out of old brush bristles. I'm not having to throw out paintbrush after paint brush anymore. (Even though I use my cheap, old, or well worn paintbrushes it hurts to have to toss out so many at once.) So I'd definitely suggest buying these Applicators.I haven't tried any other liquids with these bottles (watercolors, acrylics) though I'll probably buy more and try such things out. So I can't say anything about more thin liquids or at least non "clotting" ones.I will say that this size of applicator does bead up fairly well on the tip and more than I thought does come out, so it's not perfect. More comes out that expected and you are able to cover a LARGE area using these items. It's NOT like drawing with a pen exactly, in that the flow is well controlled and very very FINE, even and smooth, this is more bloppy in a sense and more STRONGLY CONTROLLED DUMP, sort of thing. But it's FAR BETTER; F A R B E T T E R than the old brush method of applying Masking Fluid, so I'd S T R O N G L Y S U G G E S T getting these items. =-)And getting them in this package is cheaper than buying them one at a time, so it's far more than worth it. =-)

Very useful. Controlling flow and application with ease.
Dispenses my masking fluid in a controlled and stable manner. Also, stores the liquid well, not allowing it to solidify with contact with air.I use these applicators to store and apply masking fluid to the surfaces I'm painting. The tips and squeeze bottle let me control the flow speed and size. This is ideal for my purposes.

These nibs are air tight and work great. They take a lot of pressure from squeezing. They arrived fast and with no shipping or packaging troubles. The nib is small and needs a very runny product in it to flow out with out having to squeeze to hard. I tried Ranger multi matte medium in the 18 Gauge but it is a bit too thick and will not flow out without squeezing hard. The bottle has held up to the presser. But it is hurting my hands... LOLLLL

Best Applicators
These are the best applicators you can buy for your art projects. Once you learn how to use them precisely, they create fine lines or outlines in your art. They can be washed and used over many times. They are sturdy and can be used with the steel gauges in many sizes. Most paint or liquids work well with them but I use them for acrylic paint which I dilute just a bit. I like them better than the bottles for control and precision in use.

A MUST HAVE for Paper Arts!
A WONDERFUL tool! I use white craft glue in these and I do like to add a little water to them. Also, a tip I learned - put a moist papertowel in a cup. Put the bottle upside down in it and you don't have to worry about the tip clogging - plus, being upsidedown it'll spread easily. And oh wow! does it spread nicely! Like writing with an ultra fine pen! I LOVE mine! I use it to glue die cuts and other little "fussy cut" bits. The lid is nice too. It goes into the tip to prevent clogging.

The cap an clog unless you immediately put it back on right away after glue placement
I bought this when it first came out onto the market so it may have changed in quality since then. The one I purchased did allow me to place a very fine line of glue on paper edges for a controlled application. The only down side is that the bottle is larger than the amount of glue I was using it for (Tombow Mono Multi). With only 1/3 of the bottle full (after filling it up with 1 bottle of the Tombow), it was harder to squeeze the bottle to get the glue to come out. I accidentally left the needle tip off for several hours but the nozzle did not dry up with that glue and when I started using it again, no clogging, the glue came out perfectly.UPDATED: I ended up using one of the needle/caps only as the top for my glossy accents bottle, it seems to work better at preventing clogging at the tip with the glossy accents bottle from Ranger. I did find that with that glue it could clog the needle tip, the key was to place it back into the bottle immediately after each application.

... these bottles to replace another type that I didn't like because the plastic tip cap broke and then disappeared
I got these bottles to replace another type that I didn't like because the plastic tip cap broke and then disappeared. These work ok, but I was disappointed to see that the one that I am using is leaking a bit. It is ok, but I wish it didn't leak.
