Does not contain answers but at this level it wouldn't be necessary - the answers are in the text. Some items are required for experiments, but most things are easily available. I will be continuing to use this series for my children as its one of the few colourful, child inspiring books I've found where they ask to study science and its even prompted their own further scientific research. Review: Very comprehensive. Perfect for the summer after Y3 for revisiting the subjects and delving into them in a bit more depth. Knowledge more secure now. Nice activities recommended throughout. Good quality textbook.
