DOUBLETAKE Reading Glasses - 2 Pairs Compact Case Semi Rimless Readers

The hard case is small enough to fit in my small purse, hard enough to prevent damage, and quite impressive for the price. The glasses are equally impressive. I bought 2 sets and will probably buy another so I can have a pair in my car, purse, desk, and rooms. This is probably one of the best buys I've seen in a long time. The glasses are comfortable, the strength accurate, and look much more expensive than they are. They are also small enough to fit on my small face. My similar prescription glasses for long distance were over $100. A really nice buy.

I ordered these to use as every day glasses when reading and working. They seem to be of very good quality. Glasses feel heavy and well made. The case and cleaning rag are very nice and again, seem to be high quality. I have only had them a couple of days but at this point I would surely buy again. I will say the glasses were a little smaller in height than I expected. The don't cover the entire eye socket so if that is a requirement for you, please check the dimensions before purchasing to ensure they suit your needs. Otherwise they seem to be a great buy.

Great glasses, wonderful case... even better price. Good working glasses... fit well in pockets. Yep... the simple raw truth... (of course most people aren't too interested in truth). Sad but true... but this is the truth... if you're lookin' for trim, sharp, and slim... these glasses should do the trick. Good luck!

The glasses are great for the price. The frames are a bit flimsy, but thats partly a result of the small size and partly a result of the low cost, so I can't complain. The cases are surprisingly nice and both come with a micro fiber cloth to keep in them which is a nice touch. I got these to keep next to each PC I use regularly (home and work) for when I dont have my more expensive prescription glasses with me. Happy with the purchase!

I started wearing reading glasses in 2016 and they helped improve my overall vision and my distance prescription has improved since then. These glasses are wonderful, they are small enough to be easily portable, the case is strong enough to protect them from damage, and they are comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, which I have found most mini-readers are too uncomfortable for more then a few minutes. Well worth the price as you get two pairs.

So I hit that age where my eyes just don't work like they used to and had to face the fact that my eyes need a little help. I really didn't want glasses with large lens, I wanted to be able to have them on but position them to where I could look above the lens for distance. These were exactly what I was looking for. I can have them on for reading and I don't have to take them off to look at something further away. I also love the fact that they came with hard cases to keep them from damage when I drop them into my pocket to take them with me to like a restaurant to be able to read the menu. I have been using them for almost 3 months now and I'm extremely pleased with them.

These are OK, certainly bargain priced, but it seems like more attention was paid to the case than the quality of the glass. The case is awesome, and the frames are fine too, but I find the glass distorts on the edge of my vision in a way other readers don't. This makes them uncomfortable to use in a situation where you are constantly looking down to read, then back up, like in a meeting. They work well enough as simple readers where you are focused on the text for a short time and they are more compact than other pairs, so they have their uses. I keep a couple around the house and in cars and they work well for that purpose being smaller than most - great to take in to a restaurant, for example, so I can actually read the menu. But, if I'm at work or settling in for a long read, I prefer to use other more comfortable options. I would not recommend if they were the only pairs you had, but they do OK as stop-gaps and those times when you just need a pair for a few minutes.

I tend to sit back from the computer at both the office at work and at home. Now that I am working exclusively at home I needed some weaker reading glasses for this. I tend to sit too close to the screen in order to be at the optimal distance to see with my current readers. I had worked half a day today and received my new readers in the mail at lunchtime. I opened up those box and took the glasses from their case and they are perfect! Comfortable, very light, and very well constructed, and optically perfect. I am so glad I ordered these. I bought two pairs so I will always have a pair at my computer. They are a great product and I will probably order a pair or two for my wife.
