Great for learning swimmers
I wish I had discovered this sooner. I love that it hugs the body, giving kids the freedom to use their arms and truly learn to swim. It has safely kept my daughter afloat and we have moved down from 3 to 2 to 1, showing positive progression. Got the recommendation from my sister in law and would pass that recommendation on.

These are what is used for swimming lessons
My grandson took swimming lessons and I saw that they were using these. I got them and they work great. It lets him move naturally without being constricted or having to practice swimming in a not so natural way with a life jackets or arm floats. In 16 days he can tread water without them.

Great learn to swim aid
Park district would not let me use it, so I had to return it. Have used in past to teach children to swim

Good but too big for a 6 year old
It did it's just, the only issue is that this seems more tailored to an adult as it was too big for my 6 year old son and it kept shifted when he tried to use it. Overall I do not recommend this for kids.

Like the YMCA
When my son did swim lessons at the YMCA they used these. This is just like they use. Very buoyant and will keep him afloat as long as he’s kicking and scooping with his arms. It helps a little but I wouldn’t recommend only this if the child doesn’t know the basics of swimming. If they’re not kicking and scooping this alone won’t keep them above water for long.
