Perfect for club peanut butter jars
This is the small spatula I should have bought when I bought another brand first. Oxo is a good quality that never disappoints. This is rigid enough to get all the peanut butter out of the jar. (The other one I got before this was very floppy and wouldn't scrap the bottom/edges well.) It is easy to clean - just pop it in the dishwasher. The handle length is good for the jumbo club store peanut butter jars. I wish it came in other colors, but this was fairly neutral, I guess.

My new favorite
I waited a few weeks to review. 8 purchased the OXO Good Grips Silicone, everyday scraper to evaluate different uses. This is my new go to. I have trigger/locking fingers and carpal tunnel. This thing fits comfortably in my hands. I have a Silicone addiction so I have tried just about every brand available including generic and high end. This is my absolute favorite for baking, cooking and disposing of leftovers. This thing scrapes almost every grain of sugar out of a bowl, container, pot, pan, you name it. I've only had a few weeks so I am unable to speak of durability at this time. However, should it last only a year, I'd purchase again.

90 y.o. Mom Seal of Approval
OXO products are, in my experience, well-made, functional, fairly priced, and sometimes quite well designed. This narrow spatula is all of those things. It's comfortable to hold and use, and the business end is soft and flexible enough to get into the corners without being so floppy that everything falls off. The "oat" color isn't great IMO, but hey, it's a spatula. It had a moment of glory last night when my 90 y.o. mom easily scraped out the needed amount of mayo from an 80% empty mayonnaise jar.

Excellent kitchen tool
The jar spatula of your dreams. Sturdy, inexpensive, and off-white. Just the right length to clean out a jar of peanut butter, mayonnaise, soup or anything else. I reordered within a day.

Quality spatula but not the prettiest
Overall a very good product in use and quality. Everything I've used it for, it has handeled without issue. I'm only removing a 1/2 star for it's aesthetics, as it is very blah looking, even in a drawer full of other plastic spatulas and utensils. If you just need a quality spatula and don't care how it looks, this will do the job.

Finally, a tool that actually reaches the bottom of the jar
This product works exactly as advertised. I make a week's worth of overnight oats at a time using 16 oz wide-mouth Mason jars. I used to just use a big spoon to stir them, but I could never get into the bottom corners of the jars. There were always clumps of chia seeds and dry ingredients stuck in the bottom corners. I just couldn't easily reach them without a ton of extra effort and usually making a mess at the same time. I finally broke down and bought this OXO spatula, and it’s a game-changer. The shape is perfect for getting into those tight spots and scraping the sides clean so everything gets mixed together perfectly. One of the best things about it is that it's all one solid piece of silicone. There are no seams or cracks where the head meets the handle, so there's nowhere for food to creep in and get stuck. It’s a lot more sanitary and makes cleanup a breeze. It’s a simple, sturdy tool that does the job better than anything else I’ve tried. If you’re doing meal prep in jars like I am, don’t even hesitate, just go ahead get it, you won't regret it.

I love the oxo brand because they make quality products that last forever. This spatula is big but that is exactly what I was looking for to mix large batches of pizza dough!

OXO è una garanzia, ormai ho solo prodotti di questa marca in cucina. La spatola mi serviva perché ho alcune pentole delicate su cui non posso utilizzare strumenti in acciaio. Consigliatissima.

The silicone has no smell. It’s firm and seems durable but yet to my surprise, it is able to clean my bowl. There’s a slight flexibility at the edges but the core is strong enough for me to scrap food from sticking on the bottom of the pan. I left the spoon in the pot while cooking, it didn’t melt and not even feels warm on the handle. No strong cooking smell (a faint smell, not too strong) on the spoon after washing, and it’s easy to wash. The cheap silicone spatula that I had always left an oily residue even after washing with soap and water and I have to wash a few times to get rid of the oil and yet the smell is still quite strong, it stinks my cutlery drawer. But I don’t have the ‘oily residue after washing’ issue with OXO. I also like the fact that it’s red, tomato sauce or turmeric stain wouldn’t be so obvious. It’s my first OXO kitchen utensil. I usually don’t spend too much on silicone utensil. But after using a couple of cheap silicone utensil and compare it with one of my expensive spatula, I think quality of silicone do differs. The expensive one that I have, last me for 10 years before the edge split a little. That’s why I wanted to replace it with a reputable brand silicone spoon. And after doing my research, seems like OXO is highly recommended, both Amazon’s and YouTube reviewer. I was contemplating between KitchenAid and OXO. KitchenAid (also highly reviewed on Amazon and slightly cheaper than OXO) does look aesthetically pleasing to eye but not very practical because the handle is plastic, so I can’t leave it in the pot by accident. So OXO is more suitable for me as it is fully silicone from handle to spoon head, and more hygienic as there’s no nooks and gaps. I highly recommend it to people who are looking for something more durable.
