I was making a large Halloween prop out of big styrofoam blocks and needed to carve out shapes and angles where a hot knife wouldn't work. A utility knife, razors, saw blades, etc. weren't working very well at all, so I gave this a try after hearing a recommendation. Wow -- this sucker works great! It easily goes into the foam and cuts/slices either by plunging the squared-off tip or cutting like a traditional knife. The blade is nice and strong, but does have some flexibility so you don't feel like you'll ever snap it off. This will be my go-to tool for cutting and carving foam, whenever it's outside the realm of a hotwire cutter's ability.

Came sharp, works good. We'll see how long tge plastic handle lasts

A pretty good tool it gets stuck in pockets and sheaths alot from the tip design but its pretty competent as far as use goes
