I gave 4 stars because I have only had a chance to use this product a couple of days however my first reaction was " wow! this is what I have been looking for" My hair has a great curl, left shinny, fresh looking, and it smells nice. It seems to do exactly what is says. I will have to see in the long run how it preforms but right now, it is worth a try.

I love this product I've used other products by this company which I also liked a lot, that is why when I found it I made the purchase. It works well for me doesn't dry your hair out or make it feel yucky and hard. I use it along with the smoothie styler.

I am a man and I have African-American 4C hair. I wear it in a natural style. This product felt the equivalent of putting an Ivory soap bar in my hair. Went in white, stayed white, and oh! Add some white chunks that crystalized in my hair. I tried it both ways, as a twist out and wash and go. The weird thing is the crystals were hard to get out as if glued in. Not a good look when one is going for a black, shiny, moisture laden "effortless" look. If you have hair like mine then you know it's almost magnetic. So, the last thing I want is to have more "foreign" looking matter in my hair. Not really "foreign" cuZ I put it there and not the dry white clumps caused by the amplifying gel are appearing in my hair even the next day. I don't like giving negative reviews so I'll close out with this: I love the following ORS products: The Curl Defining Creme and the Curl Boosting Jelly. I love these products. I have used them for over a year. I believe they are meant to be used together as the creme goes in dry and the jelly moisturizes. So, I guess I'd better go write some positive reviews for those products!

My hair loves ORS products and I started using this one recently. It is not a substitute for an oil nor a moisturizer in the LOC method, but a great substitute for a gel. I no longer use eco styler gel on my hair. This gel is lighter and more moisturizing for my hair. I am a 4b and I get a more bouncer curl with this product. I use this only when first doing my wash and go and after doing my process to elongate my curls, the results are a longer yet smooth curl pattern. So yes, I am happy and impressed with this product.
