Purpose built solar panel brackets
Update (02/18/23): The brackets are decent, but two quality issues: 1) there are twelve fasteners, but ten nuts (why not just add two more?), 2) all of the drilled holes and slots were rough, so I used a edge deburr tool and file to round everything out (took 15 minutes).Summary: This review is for several different solar panel brackets, some were purchases, and some were Vine reviews. While you could presumably head over to the BIG BOX stores and buy some generic components, the kits include everything you need to mount a single (or two) solar panel(s). Once assembled, the angle of the panel can be adjusted without tools. For RV applications, this is especially convenient since the panel would be flat for transport, and then angled once setup at a temporary location.Observations: One other specific feature of these brackets are the top holes, which are slotted (vs. round), which allows for installation for different hole spacings, which vary my manufacturer. There are bracket kits available in three lengths, 22, 28 and 45 inches (these are the common size offerings).Recommendations: Look for kits with stainless steel hardware, as the non-stainless will eventually corrode. I found that most of the brackets have sharp edges, so spending a few minutes with a hand file to remove the sharp edges will prevent cuts on your hands in the future (for me, that is time/effort well spent).Pros: Good fit & finish; complete hardware kit.Cons: Cost (as compared to buying generic components, and building the kit yourself); newer offering with very few reviews (as compared to the BogueRV kit below). Conclusion: Overall rating these 4-stars (cost vs. convenience), and for kits with non-Stainless-Steel hardware, rating those 3-stars.Related Products:HQST Adjustable Solar Panel Tilt Mount Brackets, 28 inch ~ $50Visit the HQST HIGH QUALITY SOLAR TECHNOLOGY Store4.2 out of 5 stars 143 ratingshttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B086JNWRVTCMYYANGLIN Solar Panel Mounting Brackets Tilt Mount, Adjustable 45 inch ~ $584.6 out of 5 stars 19 ratingshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B094CN3199LBG Products 28" Adjustable Solar Panel Tilt Mount Mounting Brackets ~ $404.2 out of 5 stars 62 ratingshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PM5FSXLAulock Adjustable Solar Panel Tilt Mount Brackets- 28" ~ $354.3 out of 5 stars 26 ratingshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B0956YS45Q

Very functional-All you need for one large panel or two smaller panels
Functional and well made. I use it to mount a 240 watt/10amp solar panel. This aluminum bracket is adjustable and very easy to adjust. My panel is reserved for emergencies so it is not mounted outside permanently. I place to solar panel on the ground outside and the battery inside. I can set up the panel, 12 volt battery and MPPT controller in about 10 minutes. The bracket can also be completely retracted when not in use. You may have to drill four holes in your solar panel frame to securely mount this bracket. Now you can set up anywhere: Home, shed, carport, boat or RV. I don't have enough to run my A/C or stove. However, with 10 amps an hour charging I can have a few comforts: 12 volt or 110volt fan (inverter needed for 110volt) all the LED lighting I need, recharge anything that has a battery. Best of all...I DO NOT need any gasoline to run a generator!
