Ok it’s amazing will buy again, if you live popcorn this is great my kids love it pops very well we keep it in a sealed container great size and fun for movie nights

Pops well and tastes great

Good quality corn, although Amazon has difficulty boxing products like this one for shipping, so 1/3 of my bag ended up on the floor of the delivery truck. I repackaged mine into air-tight gallon freezer bags that I keep away from sun, heat, and moisture, and I continue to have a near 100% popping rate a year later. I suspect this product will stay fresh at least 2-3 years if stored properly. This corn is not huge kernel, but the taste is top quality, and the texture is consistently fantastic. Pair this with Paragon Coconut Popcorn Popping Oil, and Flavacol seasoning, and you've got theatre popcorn flavor. It also pops well for me using both an air popper and a microwave popper, but I prefer the taste of the added coconut oil. It also doesn't hurt that Paragon is a small family business in Iowa that does one thing only and does it well. And the price per pound is outstanding for a product of this quality, and the taste is superior to any commercial brand. Moisture content is important for popcorn, so if yours starts to loose its oomph, put it in an airtight jar, add several drops of water, and store it in the fridge so it doesn't spoil. Within a day or so the corn will absorb the moisture, and the successful popping rate will go right back up. Only do this to as much as you know you will use up in a reasonable amount of time, and once you've added the water keep the corn refrigerated.

Fifty pounds of corn nicely packaged in a single completely open paper bag - it looks like the top of the bag was never closed. Our large bags of dog food were packaged better. Fortunately, the bag was in a box that held the corn like little marbles rattling around the interior. Some of the box had tape so only the corners leaked. We haven't tried the popping it yet, open aired moisture content may be a bit different that advertised, but spent some time regurgitating the contents into containers, Mylar bags, and storage carafes and will hope for the best. On a positive note, no dead bugs or mice were in the box so I rated the box two stars for surviving content. After I repackaged the product, I found the popcorn to be a good treat. Big kernels, good taste, and very little waste.

This is fantastic popcorn! It pops larger than Jolly Time brand that you get at the grocery store! I have to use a little less than 1/2 cup in my popper or it will cause problems. The taste is great! I eat popcorn very frequently and I am very satisfied with the quality and value of this popcorn. I highly recommend this popcorn. I normally do not write reviews, but I enjoy this popcorn very much and figured others might have questions about the taste, freshness, and size. I store the popcorn in gallon freezer bags and it keeps fine. The quality/quantity for the price is phenomenal!!! I have bought 50lb bags and had to pay shipping, which made the popcorn even more expensive. Amazon Prime made it free shipping, so I did not have that expense.

I was curious to see what 50lbs of popcorn looked like. Now I know. Great popcorn. Very few unpopped kernels. Good quality.

The Orville Redenbacher popcorn that I bought locally at the grocery store recently was expensive, popped hard and had a lot of unpopped kernels. I used to exclusively buy Boy Scout popcorn kernels for the value, quality and proceeds going to a good cause but there seem to be fewer Boy Scouts around and zero that I know. I saw this discount and figured, “Why don’t I make our 80 year old mail woman carry this up our front steps to leave it on my porch,” and the rest is history. You’ll want to move it into an airtight container (Sterilite 64 or 66 is a perfect fit) and make sure you get it off the porch quickly if the air is moist because the bag and box are paper/cardboard. Popped my first batch on the stove and only one unpopped kernel in a whole cup of kernels. Pops a little slower than other corn so take care not to burn it.

Just finished off the last 50 lb bag and time to get a new one. This is a great deal for families, the price is right on this premium popcorn and prime ships it free! A bag lasts all year and stayed fresh in a bucket with a gamma lid. The popcorn has those large movie kernels with excellent flavor. Almost every kernel pops every time. I wish it were organic, but then it would cost more. We have a stainless stovetop popper that works great and it's easy to make your own popcorn or kettle corn for a healthy inexpensive treat on movie night. if you have a nutrimill grain mill this popcorn makes a very good cornmeal.
