Great Tool for Crimping Open Barrel Terminals
I was prepping some connectors on a set of fog lights for my truck and it required crimping non-insulated open barrel terminals onto wires. After running all over town to the major parts stores, home centers and electrical houses, no one had a tool like this! Ordered on Amazon, arrived the next day and worked great. Tool Quality: Very good fit and finish, clear markings, ergonomic handles, the jaws line up very well with a smooth and linear operations as you crimp. I can't say enough how nice this tool really is. One minor improvement could be to include the insulation/wire gauge markings on both sides of the jaws instead of one, but not a show stopper. Packaging: Very nice as the tool was in a plastic bag and placed inside of a cardboard box with included instructions from the manufacturer, not just loose. Instructions: Included instructions are basic and being my first attempt at crimping terminals like these, I messed a few up--but that wasn't the tool's fault. Rather, having the correct amount of stripped wire insulation and properly placing the wire into the terminal prior to crimping are very important, so I had to fumble through it. Conclusion: Great quality for the money, did exactly what I needed it to do the tool makes very nice crimps if you operate it correctly. For under $20, this tool seems to be an excellent value and will stay in my toolbox!

Great Crimpers for Stamped Terminals
Use these daily for all stamp style terminals. I do a lot of electrical work at a Peterbilt Dealership and bought these because I can never find the shops crimper. This tool works just as good at a fraction of the cost. Like that it also crimps the weather seals.

A Little Confusing Labeling
The print on the jaws don't tell you, but one jaw is marked for the conductor, the other is for the insulated wire. So, if you don't use these often, it may be a little confusing. Since I need these 1-2 a year, I'll be coming back to this page for the instructions or get out my engraver. The wire cutter, strippers and pliers on the end are a nice touch, but the print on the strippers, as in their photo, is hard to read. This is much better quality than another type of Icrimp/Iwiss crimpers I returned.

Worked well for occasional use. Well built.
I wouldn't want them as my every day, go-to crimping pliers, but for occasional use they work great. Well made; not cheap and flimsy. Crimped Deutsch connectors perfectly.
