Burns clean!
This wood is great! I use it in my solo stove bonfire with my pi fire. It fits well in there, and it burns clean. There aren’t any odors, and it is smokeless, but it’s a solo stove. I use it frequently to cook pizzas on the pi fire.

Great For Bourbon
I'm not sure if anyone else buys these for making bourbon, but I did. They are perfectly sized white oak sticks for aging bourbon in quart sized mason jars. I use a combination of toasting and charring them (my secret recipe) before starting the aging process. I typically split the sticks into at least half (so one stick becomes two), and I split off any bark. The smell and flavor that these produce is amazing, and everyone is a huge fan of my bourbon. One box has lasted me a very long time and has made a lot of bourbon. I couldn't be happier with this result and am thankful for the quality of sticks that this company produces.

You may need a bigger stick.
These logs work well but are too small and therefore too expensive for the OONI Karu 16 when used alone. Unless you are relatively quick on the prep or use them with charcoal, alone these logs will burn too quickly causing you to use a lot of them. They function well but the Karu 16 needs larger logs which will not burn up as fast. OONI sells 8-inch logs for this size oven.

UP IN SMOKE
Good wood for pizza oven. Just used them last night in an Ooni Multi Fuel Pizza Oven. They light easily and get the oven HOT fast. Two points to make...they burn a little faster than expected, and they didn't put out that great oak smell/taste. I will use them again next week and comeback to edit my review if anything different on the next try.
