I have really fair skin and for a long time I could not go to the beach or out in the sun without full clothing because of it. I went to the beach to walk for only one hour today- fully sun protected skin, hat, clothing Nutrogena SPF 60+++ facial serum (several layers) and this banana boat lip balm on my lips. My skin is toasty- can't say if it is burned or not but its pink and irritated where I had on the nutrogena and the same on my hands and collar bone where I had 100% zinc sunscreen applied. My nose, cheeks and chin have sun rash- but my lips and skin around my mouth are perfectly intact.I really can't believe how well this lip balm worked and the skin it rubbed off onto was so well-protected. I wasn't a banana boat fan before and I thought drug store chemical sunscreens were not protective enough- but I've been proved wrong! Hawaiian Tropic and Banana Boat alike make some great products for sun protection and they are $10 and under most of the time. I used Supergoop for years and they make great products- but Supergoop doesn't hold up like this. I'm really happy and impressed that I can go to the beach and protect my skin for less money! I'm buying some for my whole family and will put some of the lip balm on my face when I feel the sun is intense.

I have purchased this lip balm multiple times over the past few years. It is my go to in every scenario. Works in the harshest conditions - we hiked two weeks in the Sahara - my lips were conditioned and never burned, no wind chap and moisturized. One of my must have comfort items. So compact - it goes everywhere with me! It has a minimal taste - very pleasant and light. Goes on smoothly and lasts. Love it - and it is reasonably priced! The best.

Best lip balm ever! I am prone to Sun blisters on my lips. This has stopped that for me.

Blocks the sun. But has that awful ingredient. I try to put outside lips but still gets in my mouth and taste horrible.

This protect great in the sun and wind. It’s pleasant on the lips no bad taste or smell and can use on sensitive skin/lips. Good price too.

My absolute favorite spf lip balm. Smells great, doesn’t leave a white cast and goes on smoothly.

Have used this for years, keeps my lips from burning and blistering while in the sun or windy weather. The aloe in it is the secret!
