Keeps bite valve clean!
So nice to have for activities where the bite valve ends up touching dirt/sand/etc.. Keeps it clean and ready to drink from!

Recommended to keep your bite valve clean when your pack is off
Personally I like having a cover for my bite valve. I don't necessarily keep it on while we're actually moving on a trail. But it is really nice in a pack line or other situation to prevent your bite valve from getting knocked over in the dirt. I think it was a good value and easy to use. It fit my Gregory bite valve excellently and seems durable.

Great! The pack should come with this!
Wonderful! The pack should come with this to keep the valve clean while hiking. 1 problem: water gets caught in there somehow and it drips during hikes and in the car. I don’t really mind but some might.

Simple and effective
Nice and simple. Goes on easy and keeps the mouth piece clean when I’m putting my backpack down in the dirt, hitting it against foliage, etc.

Kept dirt and dust off
This was Ana amazing thing to have on my Everest base camp trek. Kept the dirt and dust off my mouthpiece so I could trek without worry. I cleaned it off each night and was one of the only people on my trek who didn’t get sick!

fits bigger circular bite valves.
was struggling to find a cap that would fit but glad to have found this one from gregory. fits great on my bite valve which is circular (and not oval like a lot of the other ones out there).
