This is the first time I found a liner that is truly heavy duty, a very very thick material, so there is no concern for it not having magnets on the bottom as this REALLY stays in place...There is also no folded seam on the bottom or sides to "potentially" become mildewy...all edges are simply straight cut edges.I love it so much not I decided not to use the outside curtain with it, as we are enjoying the light this lets into the the shower area making it feel roomier. However be warned for those of you who are sensitive, that this does give off an odor ***I'm super sensitive to chemical smells - but hubby didn't notice any smell, go figure. Since I didn't have anywhere that I could place it to "off-gas" for a few days, after hanging it up that night, I used a small fan blowing towards the open window. (thankfully it is summertime) ...the next morning the smell was not as bad, but I then remembered one of those helpful hints and placed a cotton ball treated with citronella essential oil on a nearby shelf, to help clarify the air, and that REALLY did the trick. Next morning I was able to turn off the fan...Also upon opening the package, there was a fine white powdery substance on the outside of the curtain which did wipe off easily with a damp rag (I thought maybe it was applied to make sure you can easily unfold the curtain ? just a guess, who knows...)Now after having this up for over a month the water spots were starting to bother me so I liberally sprayed it with that scrubbing bubbles spray foam, let it do it's thing, it just dripped down and I didn't even have to rinse it...and now I'm really in love LOL no more water spots (and we have hard water) In all fairness I did not deduct a star for the odor since it is stated as being PVC and it was my error in not catching it -> after going back and forth reading reviews for all contenders, in the end and haste to "pull the trigger" I overlooked it...BUT I am glad I did because (1) the enjoyment - yes, enjoyment over a shower curtain/liner :-) is well worth the short off-gas and (2) had I remembered the hint about using essential oils to clarify the air sooner, it really would not have any issue whatsoever...

I absolutely loved this shower curtain. I usually get them from Walmart and they shred so fast. I decided to buy one from Amazon and not only was shipping very fast, but the quality is amazing! It is so thick and sturdy. It was a little hefty to hold it up and put it on the rings in the beginning because I have weak arms but that’s a personal problem. The quality is absolutely amazing and the ring holes are very sturdy unlike others where they are hole punched in.The only downfall of this was that it smells very strongly like a new pool inflatable. It isn’t a deal breaker and definitely doesn’t deserve a lesser rating. But if you have a sensitive nose, a smell aversion, or poor air circulation you should think about airing it out in the living room before hanging it! After 24 hours you really only smell it when you move it by your face now but initially it made the entire bathroom smell.I heavily recommend this product

This curtain is perfectly sized for our oversized tub. The material is very heavy duty, I am not at all worried about the hangers tearing out or failing. The plastic material is super thick and I would assume it will outlast our ability to keep it clean. It comes with curtain hangers but they are kind of chincy looking. The only downside to this curtain is that it smelled terrible for 3 days after installing, even with the bathroom fan running basically the whole time. It outgassed a ton of plastic stink for days. So if you are sensitive to plastic stink probably look elsewhere.

If you are looking for a highly durable bathtub curtain, I highly recommend this!! The previous ones I got from ross/walmart were not even close to this quality. I've got this at a cheaper price due to it being a warehouse product. But it was brand new anyway.

Lasted over 3 years before the bottom began to cause problems and the top tore.UPDATE: These curtains were not available when I needed to replace mine, so I tried another brand with similar claims - thickness of plastic, mildew-resistant, etc - and regretted it. I'm so glad these are available again, and I immediately bought a new one. Debating buying a spare just in case lolI feel silly gushing about a shower curtain, but this really is the best quality I've found.The plastic is thick and heavy enough to hang properly, even when the shower is running, so I don't have plastic sticking to me. Just the right length, metal grommets and reinforced along the top, and it really is mildew-resistant. There was barely any smell when I opened the package, and any residue of it was gone within hours of hanging, which I appreciate because strong scents (and sometimes not-so-strong ones) give me migraines..... It's a lot of little things that - for those who might feel overwhelmed, fatigued, stressed, have certain "quirks", etc. - adds up to a better showering experience, which leads to a better mindset for whatever some next.

Sent as expected. One curtain 6 X 6 ft. Good thickness. Would not call it transparent...can't call it translucent. You can see thru the curtain but not clearly...its blur...that's what expected from this curtain. We have used this curtain in the hallway...we can see people walk on the road but can't see them clearly and vice versa until and unless they come close to the curtain..even then you will know who the person is, but not a clear image. Worth the money for its standard size and quality.
