Freeze Defense 3in1 Men's Winter Coat Jacket Warm Parka w/Insulated Snow Vest

Freeze defense is the perfect name for this coat. This is by far the warmest coat I've had. So, A few ago, we were hit with some serious snow, and I had to make sure the driveway was clean. So I'm going out with my snow blower with the temperature of 21° and found out just how effective this coat is. I was actually sweating inside my jacket. This jacket is very warm and thickly padded. With a inner liner that can be removed for warmer days. There's plenty pockets for all your things, with a equally warm hood to keep your head and ears cozy and warm too. I love the quality zippers so I don't have to worry about the jacket staying closed on those windy days. There's several sizes so finding the right fit won't be a problem. It's definitely worth the price for those seriously could days.

I have never written a review before, and i have gotten a lot of stuff from Amazon. This is the nicest coat I have ever gotten. Very warm and fit well. Very good quality for the money. I would recommend this coat to anyone. Great product.

If you live in blizzard country, this winter coat is for you. Long enough to keep the wind out. Cuffs, hood and wind flaps over the zipper all seal you in nice and snug. This is designed to keep you warm in the worst winter storms. I'm in North Dakota just a few miles from the Canadian border. This review is based on first hand experience. Buy a bright color. During a winter storm is not the time to blend in.

The Northeast has been having some very cold weather lately (mostly < 20F with high winds)...and I got this coat just in time. The vest doubles as a lining if you zip it into the coat, but I haven't even needed it. When out in this extreme weather I am almost sweating in this coat. Also very waterproof. Has many pockets. All of the pockets zip. Three very minor complaints: The velcro extensions on the bottom of the hood are a bit too short, so if you join the velcro bits, the bottom is a little too tight on my face. I wish the larger side pockets (where I put a hat and gloves) were not zippered so I don't rub plastic teeth against my hands when I use them. Might be a bit puffy, but that's why it works so well, I guess.

I finally decided to get a new heavy parka after using the same one for twenty years. After reading reviews on this and other items, I decided to purchase the Freeze Defense 3 in 1 Parka. It arrived just a couple of weeks before Christmas and it just so happens that this Christmas weekend has been one of the coldest here in a long time. I live in South Georgia so we don't usually have a long or severe winter. I go to work early in the mornings and that is usually the only time of day that gets near freezing, but I like to have a coat that makes it comfortable. This year the temperatures overnight have been in the twenties with a wind chill tonight of 15 degrees. I just walked around outside wearing the parka without the zip in vest and felt none of the cold! This coat is amazing! My legs and nose were cold but the parts covered by the coat were vacationing in the tropics on a summer day! I don't believe I could use the zip-in vest with the coat unless I was actually visiting Santa at the North Pole! And the amount of pockets is wonderful! I love having lots of pockets and this coat doesn't disappoint! Now, you may be like me and not know whether to believe everyone who said the coat is sized a bit big and to order a size smaller than normal. It's the truth! I am 6 feet tall and weigh 290 pounds, so I'm a bit of a full-figured guy and always get a 3xl. I decided to roll the dice and get a 2xl. I'm so glad I did, it fits great with plenty of room! Trust me, go a size smaller than you normally would. I hope Santa's outfit is this warm. If not, then I would suggest he get one of these for flying across the winter skies in an open sleigh! Where were these coats when I was a paramedic and would have to spend hours on an accident scene in the middle of a freezing night? Anyway, I highly recommend this coat to anyone who wants to stay warm or who wants to join Batman in fighting Mr. Freeze!

First things first. The supplier has provided the best customer service I have ever experienced. You will absolutely not be dissatisfied if you buy from them. Second, this is a really good coat for the price and very warm. As to the customer service, by the sizing chart, there is no question I would require a medium, which is what I ordered. It was a bit too large even when there was heavy clothing under it. The vest could be secured in more places, I found it a little awkward to get into with arms going in between the vest and the inside of the coat, but Chris (with the manufacturer) said they are already addressing that and some other issues. Anyway, I decided to simply order a small, determine which size I liked best and then send the other one back. As soon as I placed the second order, I got a very nice and insightful e-mail from the Chris asking if I just wanted two of them or was unhappy with the size. I indicated that size was the reason, and he then explained that it was the Amazon sizing chart, not theirs, that is shown. He offered to send a small with a return label, told me to pick the one I wanted and send the other back at no charge. The small is snug (I'm 5'8', 155 pounds) but it is really warm and comfortable, keep that in mind when ordering. I very highly recommend this coat and this company.
