The center is actually perfect. It's got the weight in the center, so it won't warp.
Came in plenty of time and it's pretty easy to use.

Excellent saw blade for frets makes life a lot easier
Excellent saw blade for cutting frets. Does exactly what it supposed to.

Ease and speed of slotting.
100 tooth .023" kerf fret tang slotting made easy! I've been slotting fretboards by hand for too long, never wanted to spend the money on this blade, but now that I have, I wish I would have years ago. I ran the balde through 2 Richlite banks, it cut without issue. Richlite is really hard and contains resin, but the balde seemed the handle it well. No smoke and not burning smell. I expect that the Richlite maybe have dulled the blade, so I'll keep an eye on it and sharpen the blade when needed.

Typical StewMac highest quality; typical StewMac bloated price.
I build guitars for a living. In my opinion, StewMac provides the highest quality guitar-building tools — BUT, at exorbitant prices. Often I find tools of similar quality elsewhere for half the price; sometimes I pay the StewMac price to get a superior tool. Years in the business have taught me which is which. This particular saw blade is one of the tools that StewMac does better than anyone else. . . one of the occasions when you bite the bullet and shake your wallet.
