Included in the pack are 26 illustrated Idea cards 26 Detail cards with various suggestions I've been tempted to sit down and pull out the deck to run through on a complete "blind" story and see where I end up! If you are interested in creative writing, regardless of age, I recommend grabbing this deck. It can be quite helpful going through and you are stuck on what to do next, pull out a card, and suddenly there is a new idea or story path you hadn't considered before.

**Q: How well would you say this works for a screenwriter?**
A: I bought them for my wife. She has said they are good for getting your mind greased. They work best to help get you past a block. In her opinion they would help.

**Q: what happens if you're writing a progressive story**
A: You can really use this for any sort of story. You can refer to them to get inspired about what elements to include, or pull one out when you're stuck.

**Q: Would this help with writing children’s fiction?**
A: Well, it's possible, since the creators say it is useful for people age 8 and up. This is not a "fixit" tool; it's meant to be a creative stimulator, to jog your thought processes. If you have a particular angle you want to pursue, like "Children's Fiction," you bring that with you as you see what one of the cards nudges your writing ideas to explore or react to. If that's not working, try another card! Even if you react negatively to a card, that reaction may be just the push you needed to go in a different  useful direction.

**Q: Are the cards and ideas appropriate for a kid? More specifically a 13-year-old.**
A: That depends on the child. If I were the parent, I would go through the cards and find the ones that seemed most appropriate to the maturity and creativity of that particular child.
