Ray Bans of today are Cheap, Plasticky and Overpriced
What a disappointment. I've owned a few pairs of Ray Bans over the years that I've treasured, so I've had a long-standing impression of the brand as one of quality. I bought these as a gift for a lady, thinking they would be an excellent present for her, but when they arrived, I was so disappointed, I just wanted to send them back.The Ray Ban sunglasses of today are cheap and plasticky. When I took them out of the case, I was completely taken aback by how light and flimsy they felt. At first, I thought they might have been fakes, so I did some checking and both the seller and the product definitely appeared to be genuine. That was little consolation however as I recall that Ray Bans used to have high quality glass lenses and feel solid in the hand. These glasses were 100% plastic and just looked like they could have easily been mass produced for 2 or 3 pounds each. Don't get me wrong, the shape and the appearance are great, very stylish, but the materials and the feel are not of a premium product at all. There is nothing there to justify the huge price tag. If you buy these, you are paying for the name and the name alone.Seems like another case of big corporate takeovers ruining a once-great brand. A clear decision has been made to cut costs and just make as much profit from the name as possible. Those who have no recollection of what Ray Ban glasses used to be like may be happy with these, but my verdict on this product is that it is vastly overpriced, flimsy and plasticky and is not the premium product it is supposed to be.

Great quality and flattering
Gorgeous glasses and they were a great price on Amazon. Super clear lenses that seem to make colours more vibrant and shield without making too dark. Love the colour of the frames too - slightly iridescent which adds interest, and the shape is very flattering

Ray Ban sunglasses
Was not disappointed with the sunglasses. Arrived in good time and was well packaged. The glasses are chic and well made and look very stylish. I was concerned they may not suit me but they are the type of glasses that would suit most people. Although I do feel they are pricey but I wanted to spoil myself. I would recommend these glasses. They feel comfortable and look good.

Can't go wrong with Ray Ban
Great quality and great fit.Before buying I went to the official ray-ban website where you can virtually try them on. Once arrived it's exactly what I expected.
