Puffin Mr Majeika

Great for most ages!I think Mr Majeika is a wonderful book because I read this book when I was in class 3 at my school. Mr Majeika is about a wizard who applied to be a teacher, he flew into the classroom on a magic carpet. After I read a single chapter I wanted to read the next. The class bully Hamish Bigmore is the cheekiest of all the class. Melanie (the cry baby) is hilarious too. This book is a brilliant book. My favourite character is Mr Majeika. I definitely enjoyed this book. Great for 5 years old and over! By EBMr Majeika is a great and easy to read book. I am a year 3 child and we read the story in class. It is about a wizard called Mr Majeika. I enjoyed this book, it was very interesting and it is set in a school. Mr Majeika gets angry a lot with Hamish Bigmore in his first year of being a teacher at St Barty's Primary School after being a wizard for many years. All of the characters are unique in their own way: Melanie always cries, Pandora Green and Hamish are bullies and Thomas and Pete are just normal children and so is Jody. This book is great for children aged 5 to 10. By COSI am a year 3 child and my class has read Mr Majeika. It is about a wizard called Mr Majeika and he turns into a teacher. But as soon as he flew in on a magic carpet, class 3 knew he was different. I thought this was a brilliant, funny and amusing book because the characters are interesting like Melanie who cries a lot and Hamish who is naughty. My favourite character is Mr Majeika because he is always getting things wrong and he is hilarious. By RH.

Daughter loved the story and triggered to buy the next one. Unfortunately hard to get a second read from it 6 months later.

We read the book very quickly as my children coerced me into reading several chapters at a time. The books are long enough to engross a young reader.I would also argue the Mr Majeika series of books would make a great addition for a Primary School Library or Classroom Book collection too (Reading Comprehension and so on).My kids loved it!

My daughters thoroughly enjoyed this book. I remember reading this when I was a child. Still has that element of magic and mystery!
