That's what I used it for , pesticides, face shield , rubber gloves, respirator, and shoe covers, don't wear much clothing you'll be dripping wet in minutes, shirt, shorts and shirt,Waterproof for sure, suits are made of Tyvek

Q: would you wear in summer working outside?

I'd only wore it while I was working around poison ivy and other poisonous plants. It was hot and in the summertime. Wear in early morning or evenings. Otherwise it gets too hot.
